I had my first appointment with Brittany today, and She was so sweet and loving with me and my daughter she took her time to listen to me and care for my baby. I am on my third baby and all of them have had tongue ties and lip ties. It wasn’t an easy process at all. The dentist that did my second daughters tongue tie reversion did a great job with giving me information and how it effects everything your body does but there was no work a head of time and only 1 follow up appointment. Because of COVID I didn’t know what to do about my baby boy hurting me while nursing. A friend told me to look at bayou city breastfeeding so I made an appointment and man has it changed my life! Not only do they take insurance which is amazing, but the knowledge that they have is abundant! Also it is so so easy to get in contact because you can text at anytime and you will receive a response pretty quick! If all that wasn’t enough they are there for every step of the way to make sure you are ready for the procedure to going with you to the appointment and then follow ups! I truly am so thankful for bayou city breastfeeding. They help you with way more then just getting your child to latch properly! They want both the baby and mother are happy and healthy. I would refer anyone and everyone to them!

WORTH IT. Time, money, everything. Book the appointment. Being in the newborn trenches for a third time and two successful prior breastfeeding experiences, I debated on scheduling an appointment. My primary concern was over-active letdown and pump fitting. Wasn’t sure I’d learn much more than I already knew or could google. Incorrect. I saw Kathy Lenert, an absolute wealth of information. I was impressed at her ability to teach, be hands on, and remember all of my needs. Was given extensive after-visit summary, which I appreciated. Truly wish I had seen her with all my kids. Practical tips: Bring a helper and TAKE NOTES. I learned so so much. Parking is easy. Elevator is a bit small if you have a monster (large) stroller - but should fit. Will not fit more than two people and a stroller though.

If you go to this location, then you definitely need to work with RN Karen. She is simply the best! My family and I are full of appreciation, gratitude, and respect. If it was not for Nurse Karen, we would not have found out my son's tongue and cheek ties. I wish I could have met her earlier, but since we worked with her (my son was 5 months old), we learned a lot from her and our lives greatly improved because of her help and dedication. She is helpful, resourceful, passionate, kind, and nice. I cannot find words to tell you how awesome she is and Bayou City because they hire professional people. I recommend Bayou City and Karen to anyone.
