About Our Role
Our IBCLCs and pediatric chiropractors are not prescribers. As part of an IBCLC consultation, we may share evidence-based information about supplements and their potential effects on milk production, infant nutrition, or maternal recovery. Our chiropractors may discuss general nutritional support related to musculoskeletal and recovery concerns. In both cases, we are providing information.
Decisions about whether a specific supplement is appropriate for you or your baby, whether it interacts with medications you take, or whether it is suitable given your medical history, belong with your prescribing healthcare provider. If you are unsure, we encourage you to speak with your physician, nurse practitioner, midwife, or your child’s pediatrician before starting any supplement.
What Fullscript Is
Fullscript is an online dispensary that curates the supplement brands it carries. Rather than listing every product on the market, Fullscript selects brands based on manufacturing standards, ingredient sourcing, and third-party testing. Many of these brands are also available elsewhere; the value of using Fullscript is that the catalog has already been filtered for quality. When you order through our dispensary link, products ship directly to you from Fullscript.
How It Works
To order through our dispensary, you will create a free Fullscript patient account the first time you use the link below. Account setup takes a few minutes and only needs to happen once.
Once your account is set up, you can browse the full Fullscript catalog, search for specific brands or products, and place orders. Our 15% and 20% dispensary discounts apply automatically at checkout when you order through our link, so you do not need a code. Products ship directly to you from Fullscript.
If you order regularly, Fullscript also offers an auto-refill option that you can set up or cancel from your account.
Why We Use a Dispensary Instead of Pointing Families to Amazon
Even when a supplement brand is widely available, where you buy it matters. Amazon allows third-party sellers to list products without verifying that they are authorized resellers of the brand. As a result, the same product page may be fulfilled by the manufacturer one week and by an unverified reseller the next. Products sold this way can be counterfeit, expired, or improperly stored. For items that require refrigeration, like many probiotics, storage conditions affect potency. We use Fullscript so families have access to a verified supply chain.
