I have received great care and service from Bayou City specifically with Jennifer Robert, BSN, RN . She has been amazing with support, providing knowledge, and kindness with this new journey. I am more at ease now with breastfeeding/pumping. I would recommend this company and Jennifer to any moms needing support ♥️
Top of the line lactation care for those who will spare no expense for their little one. Kristin was so caring and thoughtful as well as patient with us as new firsttime parents! My consultation really helped put my mind at ease in the early weeks, if even just to have someone to talk to and validate my concerns! If you’re on the fence about seeing an LC, don’t be—your baby will thank you (in coos and gurgles) and your mind will be so much more at ease. It’s worth the few hundred dollars to have them come to your home. Max thanks you, Kristin!
Kristin and the team have been absolutely amazing in our breastfeeding journey! I had newborn who had blood sugar issues in the hospital and had to give her a bottle so she was refusing to latch once we got home from the hospital. It was so easy to book an appointment with Bayou City and they took care of all the insurance process. With Kristin’s expertise my baby was able to get back to nursing! As a first time mom it was such a gift to have support, advice, and encouragement every week! I'm so grateful to have had the support and have recommended them to all my mom friends!
Melissa Gonzalez / Bayou City and Alamo City changed my entire breastfeeding experience. I left the hospital mixing formula and my milk because I didn't have enough, but after a month it got worse since I was bleeding and my nipple was blocked. Melissa consulted me and discovered that my son had a tight tongue. She also gave me techniques to increase my production. I arrived with little hope and discouraged. And in less than a month She managed to go to exclusive breast milk in addition to have a saving bank. It's not just the position; there are many things around it that I didn't imagine would help or affect it. I really recommend going for counseling, it's worth it. With my first child I didn't make it more than 2 and a half months, now I've been at 4 and a half months, I continue breastfeeding and have saved up for another month and a half. I wouldn't be more happy with her help. Muchas gracias por apoyarme en tecnica y emocionalmente.

I can’t say enough good things about Tessa and how much she has helped this first time mom. She has calmed my anxieties and taught me SO MUCH about breastfeeding, positions, baby’s tongue movement, and body work. Her referral to our pediatric dentist and instructions after our tongue tie release has greatly healed my baby. Moreso, she’s so prompt with messages and will fit me in her schedule when I’m in a pinch. Our appointments are never rushed, and time just flies by in the most wonderful way. I truly never thought how much I’d need a lactation counselor as someone who’s been working with pregnant moms and moms with babies for years, but my baby isn’t even three months yet and we’ve visited her twice a month. She keeps the atmosphere super zen and uplifting. I’d go in ready to cry, end up laughing, and leave excited to implement the recommendations she’s made. Her depth of knowledge, expertise, and passion is evident. My infant always seems happier, physically relaxed, and her latch progresses so much after our visits with Tessa. I’m so grateful to her impact on our breastfeeding journey. God bless Tessa!
