I am so grateful for Nicole and all of her guidance, validation and direction! She is such an asset to the LC community with her knowledge & expertise! Breastfeeding is such an emotional journey and I’m glad to have found Bayou City Breastfeeding to have put me on the right track! Having 1-on-1 guidance outside of the hospital was extremely important to me for numerous reasons. The appointments are 100% worth the time, energy, and effort to get any momma dedicated to her feeding journey!

My lactation consultant, Dana, has been a blessing for my family. Having a feeding expert come visit our home who immediately made me feel supported was vital to my breastfeeding success. She has continued to support me and my baby through every change and challenge that has come our way. Bayou City BF is a must for new moms, or even soon to be moms. Your baby will have a doctor and you will have a doctor, but there’s no one who covers you and baby together if you don’t have a lactation consultant. From the day I reached out for a consult, BCB hyper-communicated with me for the cost, insurance, expectations, any questions I could possibly have. I didn’t decide until after baby came home to actually schedule something and they responded to my request for an appointment immediately and I had something booked that same week. I have recommended BCB to all of my friends who are new moms!

Highly recommend Lisa Smelek! She was so helpful and knowledgeable, and our visits were very comfortable and enjoyable. We made great progress, and I’m thankful to have found her!

Bayou City Breastfeeding has saved my family twice. After two kids with significant weight loss and tongue ties, we wouldn’t be where we are if not for Suzanne and her team. Just last week after our newborn had lost a concerning amount of weight in just a couple days after birth, Suzanne worked us in for a visit to check on him and then helped to get us in for an urgent visit with the dentist for a tongue tie release. We are so lucky to be enveloped with so much support. Bayou City treats you like family and we wouldn’t have a happy, healthy newborn without them.

Suzanne is the best! The first thing she checked was to see if my son had any restrictions in his mouth that the hospital missed. She found a tongue and lip tie! She showed me how to appropriately position to breast feed and helped gather resources for my son and I. I will be recommending them to everyone!

Kathy has been an incredible resource and I feel very lucky to have found her! Very grateful for all her help, tips, and support during this crazy time in my motherhood journey!

Britni was AMAZING! My breasts were so swollen, engorged and tender at our first appointment but less than a week later I felt great! She helped me bring down my oversupply and engorgement and now I feel great! Can’t recommend her enough!

This company is absolutely wonderful!! I worked with 3 different IBCLCs (depending on which location was most convenient and my crazy schedule - they were extremely accommodating), and they were all phenomenal!! Brandy is experienced and helped me get through a lot of challenges during my breastfeeding journey. The owner, Suzanne, is knowledgeable and cares a great deal about each mother/baby pair that walks through that door. I cannot recommend them enough!!
