I've been working with Karen for 5 months now. She has been truly exceptional. She has idea galore, tips and tricks I've never heard (this is my 3rd kiddo) and sage, wise advice. I'm not sure if we would still be breastfeeding without her. She is a gem. I would absolutely recommend Karen and Bayou City Breastfeeding. Without a doubt!!

Love Mandy! Small world, she was my Labor & Delivery nurse for my firstborn. When I made an appointment to see a Lactation Consultant for my second child, I was surprised to see her! It was very special to have her be a part of our lives for both children. Anytime I had questions, she was quick to respond. Very knowledgeable and positive!

My experience with Kristen here at BCB has been amazing! I felt alone in this process at the beginning but Kristen has made my journey much better; an expert and friend. My experience has eliminated any stress I had about breastfeeding/pumping and my journey back to work after my short leave. The education level I have gained from my appointments has made me a successful and happy breastfeeding mom. I cannot say enough good things about BCB! I would highly recommended them for your prenatal and postnatal needs.

My lactation consultant, Dana, has been a blessing for my family. Having a feeding expert come visit our home who immediately made me feel supported was vital to my breastfeeding success. She has continued to support me and my baby through every change and challenge that has come our way. Bayou City BF is a must for new moms, or even soon to be moms. Your baby will have a doctor and you will have a doctor, but there’s no one who covers you and baby together if you don’t have a lactation consultant. From the day I reached out for a consult, BCB hyper-communicated with me for the cost, insurance, expectations, any questions I could possibly have. I didn’t decide until after baby came home to actually schedule something and they responded to my request for an appointment immediately and I had something booked that same week. I have recommended BCB to all of my friends who are new moms!

Great customer service when it comes to virtual support and office sessions, but needs to improve on fulfilling commitments for in-home sessions. I contacted them months prior to delivery to identify an LC that does in-home visits to prepare for when I got home from the hospital. We further discussed the in-home visit during my initial office consultation and had weekly communications to provide updates on potential delivery timing. The in-home visit was cancelled due to their busy schedule with other customers and unfortunately they wanted me to travel to their office when I got home from the hospital.

Coming here really saved my breastfeeding journey. I could not have done it without Jen and all her knowledge and support. I learned something every time I went, and she was always responsive and encouraging when I sent messages. Thanks to her, baby and I made it to a year of breastfeeding.

I could not possibly recommend them enough. Nicole and the team are incredible and are always available to help when I have questions between visits. The best decision I’ve ever made was to call Bayou City Breastfeeding when my little one was a few days old. We made it to 6 months and are still going strong thanks to Nicole!

BCBL has been GREAT with us. As a first time mother, I was stressed and confused in regards to breastfeeding. Out of desperation I made an appointment request middle of the night. I was reached out promptly by BCBL with appointment arranged with Melissa C. She is the BEST! She took her time with us by showing us how to and what to do and also went over all the questions we had about breastfeeding. The weekly checkups and appointments was great help! Highly Recommend this gorgeous establishment :)
