I was extremely happy with the experience I had with Ali with Bayou City Breastfeeding! She came to my home in Montgomery, TX to evaluate my 2 week old baby and me. I was having difficulties with breastfeeding, and Ali was able to identify my baby’s issue almost immediately. She helped us come up with a plan to help with the issue, helped me navigate my breast pump, and gave us tips to make our feeding experience as good as possible. Ali was so sweet and made us feel very comfortable- not to mention, very knowledgeable! The communication from start to finish with all the staff was also great! Highly recommend!

Without the support, patience, and knowledge of Suzanne Juel, our breastfeeding journey would have been over within a month. Suzanne’s expertise and education of ties is beyond the normal IBCLC. Our post-revision struggles were more than I would have imagined, and she was there for us every step of the way to encourage and educate me on what was happening and how to work through it.

I made it 16.5 months nursing my baby girl, and I owe the majority of the credit to Suzanne. I couldn’t be more thankful for the support I received from her during the hardest times of my postpartum journey, and the support I continue to receive from her, even after the visits stopped. Thank you, Bayou City Breastfeeding, for allowing me to build the exceptional bond I have with my baby girl now, thanks to nursing.

I can’t say enough good things about Tessa and how much she has helped this first time mom. She has calmed my anxieties and taught me SO MUCH about breastfeeding, positions, baby’s tongue movement, and body work. Her referral to our pediatric dentist and instructions after our tongue tie release has greatly healed my baby. Moreso, she’s so prompt with messages and will fit me in her schedule when I’m in a pinch. Our appointments are never rushed, and time just flies by in the most wonderful way. I truly never thought how much I’d need a lactation counselor as someone who’s been working with pregnant moms and moms with babies for years, but my baby isn’t even three months yet and we’ve visited her twice a month. She keeps the atmosphere super zen and uplifting. I’d go in ready to cry, end up laughing, and leave excited to implement the recommendations she’s made. Her depth of knowledge, expertise, and passion is evident. My infant always seems happier, physically relaxed, and her latch progresses so much after our visits with Tessa. I’m so grateful to her impact on our breastfeeding journey. God bless Tessa!

I’m so grateful for Bayou City Breastfeeding and the many options they allow for visits! This was our first child, and I wanted to feel best positioned to support a breastfeeding journey. I had a prenatal appointment, which helped me feel more calm for the first days postpartum. My IBCLC followed up in the weeks before my due date to make sure any lingering questions or concerns were addressed, and they were readily available for a home visit a few days after we were discharged home. They’ve always been good about making sure they stay within what’s covered by my insurance, which is always greatly appreciated. So grateful to have this group as a resource, and would highly recommend!

Claire at Bayou City Breastfeeding Lactation was amazing!!! She started with a thorough exam to determine if there were any concern with my son's mouth. She then answered all of our questions and provided great advice on how we can improve our feeding routines. She also gave us a way to communicate if any issues were to come up, and when they did she provided us with great information and articles to help me move past the issue. I highly recommend Bayou City Breastfeeding Lactation.

I cannot express how wonderful of an experience I had with Bayou City Breastfeeding and my lactation consultant, Mary. I met with Mary prior to having my daughter and met with her regularly over the first 4 months since she was born. We tackled together a tongue and lip tie prior to and post-surgery, along with latching and supply issues. Mary is kind and always made me feel extremely comfortable at our visits. She spent so much time with us asking all the necessary questions, showing and suggesting different techniques to use and seeing how much my daughter was being fed. We miss seeing her and thank her so much for all of the help she provided to us.

I had a great experience at Bayou City Breastfeeding at the Jones Rd office. I saw IBCLC Dana. She was absolutely wonderful! She was easy to talk to, nonjudgmental, and and answered all my questions with advice and reasons to back up the advice. I felt heard, seen, and validated, and the appointment did not feel rushed at all. At first I wanted an in-home visit but they didn’t have any available but were able to get me in the office—it was probably good for me to get out of the house honestly! I absolutely recommend ANY nursing mom to see an IBCLC here, even if it’s just for reassurance! 1000% worth it.

I am so grateful for Priscilla, from the very beginning she wanted to make sure how I was doing and always there for any support I needed. I worked with her for my sons tongue tie release and BF/feeding support. I am thankful I had her help and also got to work with Mandy and Karen (at the pediatric dentist) for the release. I would also see them in the office and they truly care about all of their patients. Thank you ladies for all of your help!
