Katelyn has been working with me and my daughter for the last several months as we navigate newborn / infant feeding related issues. She made me feel completely comfortable in the sessions, putting me at ease. She is easy to talk with, and I have always felt like I could openly express my concerns and worries without judgement.  She has a great depth of knowledge and wisdom, which she shares in practical ways. She is also kind, caring, compassionate, encouraging, and personable.  She has been such a blessing for us through this time in our lives. we could never be more thankful for tiphany! she was able to after 3 different other lactation consultants and two pediatricians confirm my daughter had all 4 ties in her mouth. she not only helped with stretches, encouraged me when she was bottle refusing for 2 months, found a bottle she would take, and lastly became someone i’m
forever thankful for on our journey! i couldn’t recommend her enough and don’t wait to book her. once you notice a problem immediately go in. it’s better to find out earlier than later. my daughter is so thankful for her journey with her.

Great customer service when it comes to virtual support and office sessions, but needs to improve on fulfilling commitments for in-home sessions. I contacted them months prior to delivery to identify an LC that does in-home visits to prepare for when I got home from the hospital. We further discussed the in-home visit during my initial office consultation and had weekly communications to provide updates on potential delivery timing. The in-home visit was cancelled due to their busy schedule with other customers and unfortunately they wanted me to travel to their office when I got home from the hospital.

I was extremely happy with the experience I had with Ali with Bayou City Breastfeeding! She came to my home in Montgomery, TX to evaluate my 2 week old baby and me. I was having difficulties with breastfeeding, and Ali was able to identify my baby’s issue almost immediately. She helped us come up with a plan to help with the issue, helped me navigate my breast pump, and gave us tips to make our feeding experience as good as possible. Ali was so sweet and made us feel very comfortable- not to mention, very knowledgeable! The communication from start to finish with all the staff was also great! Highly recommend!

I cannot speak enough praise for Bayou City, specifically Claire J and Brandy (who we met a few times!). Claire is my go to gal for all things breastfeeding for mom and baby. I’m a nicu nurse and have completed coursework myself to become a CLC, and I know MANY LCs, but none compare to Claire. She is so dedicated and is a vast wealth of knowledge. We live in Dallas and were connected to Claire through a mutual friend after a complicated tie release when my daughter was almost completely aversive to the breast and would not take a bottle. I was very close to requesting a feeding tube from my pediatrician. Claire met with me virtually multiple times, even on the day after Christmas, and she was able to help my daughter be receptive to feeding consistently in a matter of 48 hours. In the months to come, we visited Claire at bayou city for week long intensives, where she worked us in to her schedule around our other appointments in Katy and even brought in other LCs like Brandy to consult on post release healing. She is skilled at navigating ties (pre and post release) and breastfeeding, supply issues, maternal health complications, and the emotional dynamics of everything. She has a wealth of resources at her fingertips and knows how to use them. Kind and gentle, realistic, and affirming of maternal dyad goals, Claire is the person y’all need for success in your breastfeeding journey.

Bayou City Breastfeeding, specifically Suzanne Juel, has helped me and my daughter so much on our breastfeeding journey. She has helped my baby latch properly, ensured my baby is getting enough to eat to grow and thrive, and also helped me with establishing a pumping routine to get my baby accustomed to bottles. She also is a wealth of knowledge on so many subjects. As a first-time mom, her expertise has been invaluable. I only wish we would have seen her sooner!

My newborn latched on & began feeding immediately after birth. I know that would not have been possible if I had not worked with a lactation consultant...

Kathy is absolutely wonderful. Very patient and very informative. My daughter has made so much improvement since coming to Bayou City Breastfeeding.
