Great customer service when it comes to virtual support and office sessions, but needs to improve on fulfilling commitments for in-home sessions. I contacted them months prior to delivery to identify an LC that does in-home visits to prepare for when I got home from the hospital. We further discussed the in-home visit during my initial office consultation and had weekly communications to provide updates on potential delivery timing. The in-home visit was cancelled due to their busy schedule with other customers and unfortunately they wanted me to travel to their office when I got home from the hospital.

While we strive to accommodate all requests, our in-home visit availability can sometimes be limited due to high demand and the availability of our lactation consultants (LCs). We did our best to plan ahead and communicate with you regularly about your needs. However, we understand your disappointment, and we regret that we were unable to fulfill the in-home visit as initially planned. Ariel was very helpful, patient, and informative! She also gave great recommendations and resources. The session gave me so much hope when I thought there wasn't any hope. I would definitely recommend Bayou City Breastfeeding to other families.

Jennifer Robert at Bayou City Breastfeeding has been amazing! I truly do not believe I would have had such a successful/enjoyable breastfeeding experience without her. I’ve seen her since week 1 of my son being born and now I’m 3 months in and doing great/ loving exclusively breastfeeding. Highly recommend!

I saw Jennifer 3 weeks after my baby had her her tongue tie release. Jennifer provided me with so much education on stretches, homeopathic pain relief, overall tongue tie healing, flange sizing for pumping, everything breastfeeding, and supplements good for lactation and hormonal balancing. Her help has been invaluable. She met with us weekly and it is because of Jennifer that my baby had gained range of motion in her tongue even with some reattachment. I highly recommend Bayou City Breastfeeding for anyone looking for lactation support.

Went for my first appointment here as a prenatal to get prepared. I now know how to use all the devices I got for self care and breast feeding. I feel more confident I will be better prepared. They even show you how to hold your baby and to get then to latch! I wanted more then what the newborn class I had to take had and I got it. It's also in a brand new building!

I have used Jessica from Bayou City Breastfeeding now for both of my children. She was instrumental in making sure that we were successful in breastfeeding, allowing me to get off to a good start with my second and to nurse for close to two years with my first. since i found out i was pregnant i knew i wanted to breastfeed. all the nutrients and bonding my baby would get was so important to me. having a traumatic birth made it hard for my little one to latch and feel comfortable breast feeding. seeking lactation help made a huge impact! once i saw tania she was so supportive and knowledgeable. she was able to tell me my baby had a tongue tie after being told by 3 different doctors “no she didn’t or it’s not bad enough to affect her feeding”. i was able to start bodywork to help my baby feel comfortable in her body and get her frenotomy done! tania supported me through everything and wouldn’t give up on helping me achieve my goal of breastfeeding after 5 months of lactation vista and bodywork my baby can now breastfeed efficiently! a BIG THANK YOU to everyone at bayou city who helped!!
