I was extremely happy with the experience I had with Ali with Bayou City Breastfeeding! She came to my home in Montgomery, TX to evaluate my 2 week old baby and me. I was having difficulties with breastfeeding, and Ali was able to identify my baby’s issue almost immediately. She helped us come up with a plan to help with the issue, helped me navigate my breast pump, and gave us tips to make our feeding experience as good as possible. Ali was so sweet and made us feel very comfortable- not to mention, very knowledgeable! The communication from start to finish with all the staff was also great! Highly recommend!

Melissa Carrera was a wonderful support system during my breastfeeding journey. My initial goal was 100% breastfeeding; however, my baby had lost over 10% of his weight by his first pediatrician appointment so we immediately started supplementing with formula and pumped milk. I was initially sad and felt guilty that breastfeeding was not working but Melissa reassured me that breastfeeding did not have to be an all or nothing process. I faced several setbacks such as thrush, mastitis, several clogged ducts and Melissa provided me with the tools and emotional support to get through all of those issues when I felt like wanting to quit several times. She answered my messages at odd hours in the night and on weekends. Her presence is extremely calming, nurturing, and supportive. My baby is now 4 months old and I am on a sustainable pumping schedule with the occasional formula supplementation and I could not have done it without Melissa’s support!

After a stressful prior lactation meeting with another practice, Katelyn was the breath of fresh air my child & I needed. I came away from that visit with so much information & felt so confident in our breastfeeding & recovery journey. So so thankful for Katelyn & Bayou City Breastfeeding!

I could not possibly recommend them enough. Nicole and the team are incredible and are always available to help when I have questions between visits. The best decision I’ve ever made was to call Bayou City Breastfeeding when my little one was a few days old. We made it to 6 months and are still going strong thanks to Nicole!

We are grateful that Suzanne was able to make a home visit to evaluate my son's lip/tongue tie in the middle of a pandemic. She came highly recommended by our baby doula and our son's dentist's office. First of all, Suzanne understood our worries about COVID-19 and did everything she could to put our minds at ease and to keep us and our baby safe by being transparent about their cleaning protocols and by following very strict home visit protocols (reporting temperatures, masks on, gloves on, social distancing, hand washing, and diligently disinfecting equipments, etc). I would not have put my trust on anyone else to come in to our home at this time. During the visit, she was very thorough in taking my son's history, from birth up until now, and doing a complete physical evaluation from head to toe. Given her background and experience, she was able to identify additional issues quickly and make recommendations in order to avoid invasive procedures in the future. When the issue was not within her scope of practice, she immediately identified pertinent help for us to mitigate the issue. She followed up with us via email and text to make sure our questions were answered. She was extremely efficient, straightforward, and thoughtful, which is exactly the qualities we looked for in healthcare provider. We very much have enjoyed our visit with Suzanne and so did my 13-week old son!

All the ladies here are super nice and helpful. They get you in as soon as possible and if they can’t help you, they find someone who can. They are also super responsive to messages and concerns.

Katelyn is so sweet! This was my second time working with her. She identified our issues quickly and got us on the right track with some easy home excercises. Ultimately we made the choice to revise a tongue tie but we couldn't have done it without her support.

Britni was AMAZING! My breasts were so swollen, engorged and tender at our first appointment but less than a week later I felt great! She helped me bring down my oversupply and engorgement and now I feel great! Can’t recommend her enough!
