My 4 month old and I are extremely grateful for all the information and training we received from a home visit with Tiphany. Thanks to her, we are now on the right path to addressing some serious lip, tongue and buccal ties! In turn my babe will... drastically reduce her risks of oral malformations as she develops during her childhood years. We had our first visit with Tessa today and it was an amazing experience, she truly is wonderful at what she does. She is knowledgeable, professional, personable and easy to communicate with. I started with some of the exercises that she recommended... and by our evening feed my daughter latched on both sides! Karen is AMAZING. Seriously, she has been so incredibly helpful in educating me on breastfeeding as a first time mom! Call them if you need someone to do in home visit with you or an office to go to. I did both and it was great. Highly recommend!

Erica was FANTASTIC. Like, 5 star service for sure. She was personable, knowledgeable, and just all around wonderful. Will definitely call her again when/if I need help.The office .... well ... they’re a hot mess. Booked my appointment, removed it... from the calendars, booked it again, lost it again, booked it a 3rd time and that finally stuck. Then they asked me to fill out intake paperwork twice. I paid for the home visit, and they tried to run my card a second time because they somehow couldn’t see that the charge had been processed, applied to my account, and a receipt had been auto-emailed to me? Thankfully my bank caught it as a suspicious charge and wouldn’t let them run it a second time more than a week after the first charge was applied and cleared.Don’t let the train wreck admin situation deter you - again - the visit with Erica was amazing and so very helpful. Just watch the office carefully and make sure you communicate well.read more

Reaching out to Bayou City Breastfeeding was a pivotal moment early on in my breastfeeding journey! I was in so much pain that I was holding back tears every time I fed my baby and remember a point when I started to bleed during a middle of the... night feed and thinking to myself “I don’t think I can continue on with this”, even though I wanted to so badly. A few days later I had an appointment with Ariel at BCB and she helped me work on latching the baby properly and identified a tongue and lip tie, which might have forever gone unnoticed if she hadn’t pointed it out as I had never even heard of this before.She was so helpful, understanding and resourceful. Understanding how to latch the baby properly took time, but that alone helped my pain SO MUCH. Once we were able to see a pediatric dentist to address the ties, everything got so much better and my baby started eating and gaining weight like a champ. I’m 6+ months into breastfeeding and don’t think I would have made it this far if I hadn’t scheduled that first appointment.I highly recommend Ariel and BCB for addressing any concerns you may have around breastfeeding. It feels so good to have knowledgeable people in your corner supporting you and your baby though this BF journey.read more

Highly highly recommend this group for anyone needing help with breastfeeding. When I called to make an appointment, I was abt two days from throwing in the towel on breastfeeding. Being a first time mom, I was told by all of the other LCs that my... latch looked good and I was fine even though I was in a lot of pain prior to calling bayou city. Britni was able to come in and quickly show me how to adjust things to be more comfortable for me and for baby. After helping me with latching, it was like night and day difference. I was more confident and comfortable, and the difference was instant. Not only did she help me with breastfeeding, but she also helped with my pump flange sizing, and showed my husband additional tips for bottle feeding, nothing felt rushed or dismissive, and I truly appreciated she was working around what worked for our life style, whether that was bf, bottles or both. I cannot recommend them and their team enough! My only regret was I didn’t have them come out prenatal as well!read more

Went for my first appointment here as a prenatal to get prepared. I now know how to use all the devices I got for self care and breast feeding. I feel more confident I will be better prepared. They even show you how to hold your baby and to get then... to latch! I wanted more then what the newborn class I had to take had and I got it. It's also in a brand new building!read more

Brandy, Suzanne and the team are amazing! They came to our rescue when our 2 weeks old baby was in dire need of help. Suzanne gave us a video call within the same day and properly diagnosed the issue that our doctor couldn't. Brandy gave practical... professional advice that we can easily follow. She does it all with such passion and care for us and our baby. My husband and I are blown away by their level of knowledge, expertise and professionalism. We are so so grateful for their service. The fruit of their labour is evident: after a short period of time, baby is gaining weight and he is so much healthier and I have more than enough milk to feed him! Highly Recommend!read more

Ariel is amazing! She immediately recognized our daughter was tongue tied and helped us through the procedure and post-op. She is so kind, always listened, and thoughtfully answered our questions. Our breastfeeding journey would have ended much... earlier than I wanted (clogged ducts, blebs, etc) if we hadn’t had her as such a wonderful resource. I feel much more confident about and comfortable with nursing and our path forward. I couldn’t have done it without Ariel! I cannot recommend her enough.read more
