My experience with Bayou city lactation was amazing. Katelyn did an excellent job with me and my baby. The goal that I wanted for me and my baby, she helped me with that. I highly highly recommend this place for all the new mommy out there who are looking for great lactation services, this is the place. Katelyn is highly knowledgeable, she worked with both of us and guide me through the process. I felt like I was talking to someone from my family, they were great great people. I had such a wonderful experience at BCB! My son struggled to breastfeed after birth, but Tiphany was a lifesaver! She got us off to a great start and even helped us incorporate bottles to decrease the chance he would reject a bottle when I had to return to work.

Now my son is 6 months old, thriving and can switch between bottles and breastfeeding.

Amanda at Bayou City Katy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to answer all our questions and was able to guide us in the best directions to take with many different options for our personal situation. She was able to give us tips not only for what we should do with our infant but also gave us helpful advice on what I could do personally on my behalf to help in the process. She was patient, and we learned a lot, just from our initial visit.

Kathy exceeded my expectations as a first time mom visiting a lactation consultant. I felt comfortable, supported, and not rushed at all. She was extremely thorough and thoughtful in her evaluations and observations of me and my baby. I left my appointment feeling confident and well informed.

I had such a great visit & experience with Mary, I am so glad I chose Bayou City! My experience was warm & not rushed, we spent the better of 2 hours together & she really got to know me & my baby. She checked things you’d expect your pedi to check but they don’t always. I’m having low supply issues & thought I had tried everything but Mary still gave me good information & things to try that I haven’t. If you’re considering visiting an LC, do it!!! 10/10 Id recommend Bayou City to anyone breastfeeding!

I don’t think anyone can prep you for the emotional and physical hardships of breastfeeding, especially those early months. But thank god for Bayou City Breastfeeding and for their sweet angel IBCLC Dana!! I was in a lot of pain the first month of breastfeeding. I would switch between pumping and giving my baby a bottle because I just couldn’t handle it anymore. Then I would nurse again but would just sit and cry as I would nurse him, not only because the pain but because I was so close to giving up. So I made my first appointment with them and wasn’t sure what to expect. I am so glad I did because thanks to my appointments with Dana, I’ve continued breastfeeding without pain and my baby is thriving! Dana is very thorough with her appointments and makes sure you and baby are doing as well as possible. She makes sure all your needs and questions are met. She helped me with my latch, stretches for my baby’s tongue tie and ways that I can help him with his reflux. Dana is extremely welcoming, friendly and encouraging! She is your breastfeeding cheerleader that you didn’t realize you needed! Her kind words have made me feel proud of the work I’ve done on my breastfeeding journey. Bayou City Breastfeeding’s office is also very clean, nice and cozy! You can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into making their clients feel comfortable. If you are having any problem with breastfeeding, big or small, I highly recommend making an appointment with Bayou City Breastfeeding (even better if you can request Dana!). It’s totally worth it mama!
