My breastfeeding journey would have been over a hundred times by now if it weren’t for Suzanne and Bayou city breastfeeding. The combination of science backed facts and emotional encouragement has given me the ability to make many educated decisions for me and my baby girl. I am so so so grateful this service exists and hope it’ll be more accessible in every branch of pre and post natal healthcare soon.

Reaching out to Bayou City Breastfeeding was a pivotal moment early on in my breastfeeding journey! I was in so much pain that I was holding back tears every time I fed my baby and remember a point when I started to bleed during a middle of the night feed and thinking to myself “I don’t think I can continue on with this”, even though I wanted to so badly. A few days later I had an appointment with Ariel at BCB and she helped me work on latching the baby properly and identified a tongue and lip tie, which might have forever gone unnoticed if she hadn’t pointed it out as I had never even heard of this before.She was so helpful, understanding and resourceful. Understanding how to latch the baby properly took time, but that alone helped my pain SO MUCH. Once we were able to see a pediatric dentist to address the ties, everything got so much better and my baby started eating and gaining weight like a champ. I’m 6+ months into breastfeeding and don’t think I would have made it this far if I hadn’t scheduled that first appointment.I highly recommend Ariel and BCB for addressing any concerns you may have around breastfeeding. It feels so good to have knowledgeable people in your corner supporting you and your baby though this BF journey.

I highly recommend Bayou City Breastfeeding. Suzanne was fantastic and put a lot of my worries at ease. My breastfeeding journey started off well, but we struggled with a few minor latch issues. The biggest thing I learned was that a one size fits all approach is not the way to go about breastfeeding, and Suzanne gave me so many tools that helped for my own experience and situation. I didn’t know how much there was to know about breastfeeding until I met with Suzanne!

Ariel was outstanding! She was personable, informative, responsive via all communication channels and reassuring which meant a lot to me as a first time mom. Her personality was so refreshing! After many other appointment types throughout pregnancy at different facilities I can honestly say Ariel here at Bayou City BF is the best of the best. She’s not cold in delivering the info and she made I and my husband feel right at home. She was a breath of fresh air and I and my husband agreed that she felt like a God send and trust me he is NOT an easy sell. I felt a giant weight lift off my shoulders after leaving the appointment knowing that we will figure whatever may come out. 10 out of 10, HIGHLY recommend!

I was extremely happy with the experience I had with Ali with Bayou City Breastfeeding! She came to my home in Montgomery, TX to evaluate my 2 week old baby and me. I was having difficulties with breastfeeding, and Ali was able to identify my baby’s issue almost immediately. She helped us come up with a plan to help with the issue, helped me navigate my breast pump, and gave us tips to make our feeding experience as good as possible. Ali was so sweet and made us feel very comfortable- not to mention, very knowledgeable! The communication from start to finish with all the staff was also great! Highly recommend!

Loved my experience at BCB with Suzanne. I knew before giving birth I would see a lactation consultant for the best breastfeeding journey possible, even without apparent “problems.” Suzanne kept a super clean space and helped me with proper latch technique, engorgement, gave us exercises for my son’s many oral ties to hopefully avoid issues in the future, and made sure of my well-being as a woman. Felt very personal and informative. Can’t wait to go back for my follow up.
