I found Bayou City Breastfeeding about three years ago. Suzanne helped me with my daughter to ensure my desires of breastfeeding my baby were met. She not only showed me techniques to help with her latch, she also recommended certain things I had no idea about that would help my BF journey. I’m so thankful for her help I was able to BF my daughter for 15 months before she (daughter) decided she was ready to be done. I am now back at BCBF with my new baby who has had latching issues and again Suzanne is there to help me with all her knowledge and amazingness! I definitely recommend Bayou City BF!

Suzanne is an angel!! She’s very clear, thorough, and patient with each visit. This is my second milky baby & her services just get better & better each time. As first time parents my fiance and I met with specialist Kaitlyn and the experience was more than worth it. She really helped us with our questions and anxietys when it comes to breast feeding. We had been feeling really discouraged with the pressures of breastfeeding our son but during our session Kaitlyn really gave us alot of affirmation in what we were doing right, and assistance in what we could improve on. even giving us exercises that I as dad can help with to make feedings better for both my fiance and my son. Great value here especially for new parents!

I cannot speak enough praise for Bayou City, specifically Claire J and Brandy (who we met a few times!). Claire is my go to gal for all things breastfeeding for mom and baby. I’m a nicu nurse and have completed coursework myself to become a CLC, and I know MANY LCs, but none compare to Claire. She is so dedicated and is a vast wealth of knowledge. We live in Dallas and were connected to Claire through a mutual friend after a complicated tie release when my daughter was almost completely aversive to the breast and would not take a bottle. I was very close to requesting a feeding tube from my pediatrician. Claire met with me virtually multiple times, even on the day after Christmas, and she was able to help my daughter be receptive to feeding consistently in a matter of 48 hours. In the months to come, we visited Claire at bayou city for week long intensives, where she worked us in to her schedule around our other appointments in Katy and even brought in other LCs like Brandy to consult on post release healing. She is skilled at navigating ties (pre and post release) and breastfeeding, supply issues, maternal health complications, and the emotional dynamics of everything. She has a wealth of resources at her fingertips and knows how to use them. Kind and gentle, realistic, and affirming of maternal dyad goals, Claire is the person y’all need for success in your breastfeeding journey.

I don’t think anyone can prep you for the emotional and physical hardships of breastfeeding, especially those early months. But thank god for Bayou City Breastfeeding and for their sweet angel IBCLC Dana!! I was in a lot of pain the first month of breastfeeding. I would switch between pumping and giving my baby a bottle because I just couldn’t handle it anymore. Then I would nurse again but would just sit and cry as I would nurse him, not only because the pain but because I was so close to giving up. So I made my first appointment with them and wasn’t sure what to expect. I am so glad I did because thanks to my appointments with Dana, I’ve continued breastfeeding without pain and my baby is thriving! Dana is very thorough with her appointments and makes sure you and baby are doing as well as possible. She makes sure all your needs and questions are met. She helped me with my latch, stretches for my baby’s tongue tie and ways that I can help him with his reflux. Dana is extremely welcoming, friendly and encouraging! She is your breastfeeding cheerleader that you didn’t realize you needed! Her kind words have made me feel proud of the work I’ve done on my breastfeeding journey. Bayou City Breastfeeding’s office is also very clean, nice and cozy! You can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into making their clients feel comfortable. If you are having any problem with breastfeeding, big or small, I highly recommend making an appointment with Bayou City Breastfeeding (even better if you can request Dana!). It’s totally worth it mama!

Love Mandy! Small world, she was my Labor & Delivery nurse for my firstborn. When I made an appointment to see a Lactation Consultant for my second child, I was surprised to see her! It was very special to have her be a part of our lives for both children. Anytime I had questions, she was quick to respond. Very knowledgeable and positive!

Katelyn is so sweet! This was my second time working with her. She identified our issues quickly and got us on the right track with some easy home excercises. Ultimately we made the choice to revise a tongue tie but we couldn't have done it without her support.

Because of Mandy and her team at the magnolia location helping us in the beginning we have made it to ONE YEAR of breastfeeding!!!!! We started out with a tongue tie in the beginning. We got that fixed and had a rough recovery but Mandy and Karen helped my baby and I through it. Once he fully recovered he did so well latching and feeding! I couldn’t have gotten through those rough few weeks without their support. I am so happy to say we made it and am feeling so accomplished and proud to have provided for my child! Thank you thank you Mandy! Could not have done it without you!!!!

My LC is Amanda and we’ve been seeing her for roughly a month now. She is such a valuable LC and is patient, kind, and proactive. She goes the lengths to make sure each of her patients are experiencing better outcomes and that they are comfortable with solutions provided for specific pain points. I’m grateful to have a LC that goes beyond the 9-5 mindset and truly cares about her clients.

Dr.Tyree and Jen are both amazing!! My son loves them and the progress that he has made is incredible. I am so grateful for both they are so caring.🤍
