The providers we work with

When a release or bodywork is part of the plan, these are the providers we refer to and coordinate with. Choose your area to see the network near you.

Before you book a release

See an IBCLC before a frenectomy

A frenectomy is a procedure, and it is not always the answer. Many painful or difficult feeds improve with positioning, latch, and bodywork, and when a release is the right step, it works best after an IBCLC has confirmed it is needed and prepared you for the aftercare that follows. That is why the release providers are listed at the bottom of this page. Please start with an assessment.

How this list works

A network we have vetted, and aren’t paid by

You are free to see any provider you choose. These are the ones we have worked with successfully. We accept no compensation or referral fees from anyone on this list. A referral reflects what fits your baby, nothing else. To be included, a provider must meet every one of these:

Appropriate training or certification, including pediatric certifications.

Real experience working with babies who have oral restrictions.

We have observed a treatment session firsthand (chiropractors, OT/PT).

Babies we have referred have shown improvement after treatment.

Our in-house team is listed first. Everyone in the referral network below is listed alphabetically by practice name within each category. This is a directory, not a ranking.

Not sure where to start?

Start with an assessment

You don’t need to pick a provider on your own. A feeding and lactation visit is the place to begin. If a release or bodywork makes sense, we’ll guide the referral and stay with you through it.
