Katelyn did our at home consultation and she was amazing. She reassured us on what we’re doing right and helped me relieve doubts I had with breastfeeding. She answered all our questions. She sends a care plan after the visit with everything we talked about with more resources. She’s very responsive through the app and text. If you’re wondering if you should book a consultation, you will not regret it. This is a great resource to have as a new mom.

I saw Jennifer 3 weeks after my baby had her her tongue tie release. Jennifer provided me with so much education on stretches, homeopathic pain relief, overall tongue tie healing, flange sizing for pumping, everything breastfeeding, and supplements good for lactation and hormonal balancing. Her help has been invaluable. She met with us weekly and it is because of Jennifer that my baby had gained range of motion in her tongue even with some reattachment. I highly recommend Bayou City Breastfeeding for anyone looking for lactation support.

I had a great experience with my lactation consultant. She was very sweet and supportive. Their office is very welcoming and clean. My consultant answered all my questions and I felt relieved in the end of the session. I highly recommend their office. I wish I could have gone there sooner.

Amanda at Bayou City Katy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to answer all our questions and was able to guide us in the best directions to take with many different options for our personal situation. She was able to give us tips not only for what we should do with our infant but also gave us helpful advice on what I could do personally on my behalf to help in the process. She was patient, and we learned a lot, just from our initial visit.

Her dedication to her profession and genuine concern for her patients is seen and felt during sessions. They didn't just address the immediate issue; they took the time to understand our unique goals, concerns, and mental health through this journey. I am so thankful that we were referred here and that we could get the help we needed with breastfeeding! I came at 1 week postpartum and my baby had lost a little too much weight for our pediatrician’s liking so we had to supplement with formula. Upon going to the consultation Amy was able to tell that he has a lip tie and a lot of tension in his body that made nursing more difficult for him and me. She guided us through a nursing session and helped to get a good latch along with a comfortable position for us and then assessed his weight gain. She showed us a better way to bottle feed a breastfed baby and also taught me how to use my pump correctly to increase my supply. I also really loved that she gave us exercises to help relax his mouth and face as well as suggested bodywork to see if his lip tie will correct itself! I would highly recommend any breastfeeding mom to go as soon as you can after birth, and while breastfeeding is hard work it can be made so much easier when you get quality help from an LC! We can’t wait for our follow up visit to see how it is improving!

This is one of the easiest 5 stars I’ve given! Morgan has been a godsend. She’s worked with us through struggles with bottle feeding and a tongue tie. She’s phenomenal, and I’d recommend her to anyone needing feeding help for their little one.
