Our first consultation here was excellent! We had conflicting and confusing advice from the hospital LCs, so we set up with Bayou City Breastfeeding to try to sort out some of our issues. Katelyn was an excellent resource and so kind, friendly, and supportive. We will be returning and recommend anyone looking for support reach out and schedule with them!

Edit to add - I am a first time mom, with ambitions of nursing my 3 week old for at least a year if possible!

We’ve been working with Megan to help our little guy (and me) have a better nursing experience. She has been nothing short of wonderful! Megan is very patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She has expertly answered all of our questions, supported us as issues arise, and been instrumental in guiding us through his tongue tie journey. We’re really grateful to have the opportunity to work with her and couldn’t recommend strongly enough. If you’re on the fence about working with a consultant—do it!

Time spent with Mary was time well spent. She helped ease my anxieties and gave good guidance to get my baby and I on the right track for breastfeeding success. Scheduling with her was always easy, the office staff was most helpful. I highly recommend!

We needed help with increasing my daughters weight just a bit and Karen was able to help us reach our goals. She was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend especially for first time moms.

BCBL is extremely helpful and professional. I had the pleasure of working with Megan on a virtual call that was very much needed at the time. She was incredibly sweet and very helpful. She put me at ease when I was struggling and highly stressed. I also had an in-home visit with Ariel. She was also so great at putting our concerns at ease. She provided a wealth of knowledge, a great resource of information and contacts, and was responsive to further questions and making herself available after our visit. We felt more comfortable and confident with her advice. So tremendously grateful for these ladies and hope to continue my journey with them. Highly recommend!

It’s always worth it. Ariel was very kind to me early on in the online triage. Kathy has come in person twice and she is amazing. She is always extra helpful sharing her vast experience. They’re very professional.

First, Bayou City is great! I reached out via text on a Sunday and they responded and got me set up with an appointment the next day. Karen has been our saving grace. She has taken my very complicated case and gone above and beyond to help me find answers. If she didn’t know something she went to great lengths to find someone who did. Without her I wouldn’t be as far as I am now. This is my first birth, and she genuinely has helped me with being the best mama to my baby I can be. I think seeing someone like Karen should be a recommendation for any mom-not just those who need assistance in lactating.
