As an exclusive pumper, I had horrible experiences with other lactation consultants. I came here on a recommendation and I don’t regret it!! Our consultant was understanding, informative and a great listener. The communication is easy as well… they have texting and direct messaging.

Claire was very knowledgeable and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better lactation consultant!

Brandy, Suzanne and the team are amazing! They came to our rescue when our 2 weeks old baby was in dire need of help. Suzanne gave us a video call within the same day and properly diagnosed the issue that our doctor couldn't. Brandy gave practical professional advice that we can easily follow. She does it all with such passion and care for us and our baby. My husband and I are blown away by their level of knowledge, expertise and professionalism. We are so so grateful for their service. The fruit of their labour is evident: after a short period of time, baby is gaining weight and he is so much healthier and I have more than enough milk to feed him! Highly Recommend!

Bayou City Breastfeeding, Mary in particular, have been incredible. I called during a time of desperation, with a week old baby and no clue how hard breastfeeding was going to be. Suzanne answered my call on a Friday, listened to me and gave me tips on the phone and set me up with an appointment with Mary the next day. Since then, our breastfeeding journey has made a 180. Mary not only is incredibly compassionate and kind, she is extremely knowledgeable. She made us feel comfortable, informed and empowered. She has become such an integral part of our breastfeeding journey, and I credit so much our success (and sanity) to her. She started as a lactation consultant, but now is a dear friend. They say it takes a village, and I am so glad that Bayou City Breastfeeding is part of ours.

Britni was INCREDIBLE. She was incredibly attentive, thorough, and knowledgeable. I left the appointment feeling heard and empowered to execute the plan we had set out to make breastfeeding a better experience for my son and I.

Bayou City Breastfeeding is a must! I booked a session right after having my baby when I discovered we were having issues with latching/feeding. I knew my baby wasn’t getting enough to eat early on and freaked out. I worked with Jennifer and she is great, I highly recommend her! She listens to your feeding goals and provided me with so many helpful tips! Tip for new moms, book one consultation before you deliver your baby so you can have a good feeding plan ahead of time then do follow-up appointments after baby is here.

Brandy Lightfoot at Bayou City Breastfeeding in Katy completely transformed my breastfeeding journey. She was incredibly thoughtful, offered practical and compassionate advice, and truly made a world of difference for me and my baby. Highly recommend Lisa Smelek! She was so helpful and knowledgeable, and our visits were very comfortable and enjoyable. We made great progress, and I’m thankful to have found her!

It took about a week to get an in person visit, but we were able to get a triage video call appointment within 12 hours of my first contact to address immediate concerns. Kathy at the Houston location was thorough, informative, and very helpful. She was respectful of the goals for our family, and made sure to check in and re-assess those goals at our follow up appointments. Would definitely recommend Kathy and Bayou City to anyone looking for support in feeding their baby!

I have had a great experience with Bayou City Breastfeeding. They really made scheduling the appointment convenient and offered me a triage visit to provide guidance as I wanted for the appointment. When I met with my consultant Katelyn she was very supportive and understanding. I appreciated that she focused on my mental health just as much as my baby’s welllbeing. I now feel more confident breastfeeding my baby when previously I was almost ready to quit.
