I honestly cannot say enough about the excellent service Bayou City Breastfeeding provides! My IBCLC, Mandy Wilson, has been blessing! She is very...
I had a great experience with them. When my daughter was born with a tongue tie, I had no clue what the treatment and rehab would entail. I feel very fortunate that both our midwife and our pediatrician recommended Bayou City Breastfeeding. It's obvious that Suzanne and everyone on her staff are passionate about helping babies. Even though they weren't on our insurance, they worked with us to make her care affordable. Everyone who helped us was kind and knowledgeable. They prepared us for our daughter's frenotomy, came with us to the procedure, and supported us through the whole aftercare process. I don't know what I would have done without them. From the physical care of our daughter's mouth, to the breastfeeding support, to the emotional support as we went through this difficult process, they were outstanding. Fingers crossed our next baby doesn't have a tongue tie, but if they do we'll definitely go back to Suzanne and her team!
Wow! If you are trying to find a place that will take the time to talk to you and help you with your breastfeeding needs, this is it. My consult was 1 hour 20 min, and our lactation specialist was helpful and had such great information and tips. She helped me latch my baby and gave me great feedback on how to do it, which is what I’m struggling with. She evaluated my baby as well and gave us exercises to do at home to help with the lip and tongue ties. She scheduled a follow up visit to see our progress in the next week. All in all, so grateful to have this resource. Highly recommend it! And you can text them to communicate! Hello, this is so helpful for parents, instead of waiting on hold for 20 min to make an appointment.
I had a great experience with my lactation consultant. She was very sweet and supportive. Their office is very welcoming and clean. My consultant answered all my questions and I felt relieved in the end of the session. I highly recommend their office. I wish I could have gone there sooner.
Suzanne and all of the support staff are wonderful. Suzanne is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and understanding. She identified several factors contributing to our breastfeeding struggles, and provided support and insight each time that I have reached out to her. She has also provided several helpful references to other specialists to improve all aspects of my children’s well-being.
