Can't recommend Bayou City Breastfeeding enough. Video triage visits are available if in-person visit availability is lagging. In-person visits are not rushed (90 min) with pre- and post-feeding weights of baby to ensure transfer. I learned an immense amount from my LC that completely changed my approach to breastfeeding, helped my baby increase milk transfer with less painful latch, assisted us with changing bottle nipples to address issues we were having, and eased my anxiety. Easy to communicate with staff via text message. Billing department is also very responsive and ensures complete understanding of expected insurance coverage (my visits to date have been 100% covered by UHC).

I’ve told all of my new mama friends to visit Bayou City Breastfeeding. The consultants are amazing & helped me SO much as a new mom! I was able to meet my breastfeeding goal with their help. Ariel was outstanding! She was personable, informative, responsive via all communication channels and reassuring which meant a lot to me as a first time mom. Her personality was so refreshing! After many other appointment types throughout pregnancy at different facilities I can honestly say Ariel here at Bayou City BF is the best of the best. She’s not cold in delivering the info and she made I and my husband feel right at home. She was a breath of fresh air and I and my husband agreed that she felt like a God send and trust me he is NOT an easy sell. I felt a giant weight lift off my shoulders after leaving the appointment knowing that we will figure whatever may come out. 10 out of 10, HIGHLY recommend!

I can't recommend Bayou Breastfeeding San Antonio enough. Meghan and her team were really caring, they guided me and my baby through a tongue-lip tie, post release, with body work and lots of their support we could meet our breastfeeding goals.

Great customer service when it comes to virtual support and office sessions, but needs to improve on fulfilling commitments for in-home sessions. I contacted them months prior to delivery to identify an LC that does in-home visits to prepare for when I got home from the hospital. We further discussed the in-home visit during my initial office consultation and had weekly communications to provide updates on potential delivery timing. The in-home visit was cancelled due to their busy schedule with other customers and unfortunately they wanted me to travel to their office when I got home from the hospital.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused regarding the scheduling of your in-home session. While we strive to accommodate all requests, our in-home visit availability can sometimes be limited due to high demand and the availability of our lactation consultants (LCs).
