Tiphany was absolutely wonderful today. She is so knowledgeable in all things breastfeeding and helped me and my little guy tremendously. I am almost 5 months PP, and I would not still be breastfeeding if not for Bayou City Breastfeeding and my lactation consultant, Tiphany. I highly recommend this practice. Breastfeeding may be natural, but it does not come easy. Tiphany helped me ensure my baby got a good latch from the very beginning which helped ease the pain that necessarily comes with learning to breastfeed. Even after we had a good latch established, she has helped with other issues that have arisen, which has helped me continue breastfeeding when I may otherwise have stopped. She has also been a really helpful source for selecting bottles, pacifiers, and toys for good oral motor development that do not interfere with my baby’s breastfeeding skills. I feel confident that I can breastfeed beyond my original goal of 6 months because of the skills I’ve learned. Highly highly recommend this practice for anyone who wants to breastfeed.
