So thankful to Bayou City for helping us through our oral tie release journey! Katelyn and Dr. Jade are so knowledgeable and great emotional supporters.
Response from the owner:Thank you for the kind review! We are so pleased that we were a part of your support team!
I would absolutely recommend working with Kyna! I was unsure what to expect as I was able to feed my baby but we had some issues with gas and over production. Kyna showed me some great tricks and some of the daily exercises have seemed to make a huge difference.
Response from the owner:Hi Janice! We greatly appreciate your recommendation!!!! 😊 Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience and kind words with us. We are thrilled to hear how much Kyna helped you overcome the challenges you faced with breast milk overproduction. Being a new mother can be overwhelming. We are so glad that Kyna was able give you the tips and tricks you needed to make your breastfeeding journey a little easier. Please let us know if there is any additional help or guidance that Bayou City Breastfeeding can provide. We are here for you!!! 😊 Thank you! Bayou City Breastfeeding
Suzanne is amazing. I always thought breastfeeding would be so natural and easy but that just wasn't the case for me. I struggled with my first two kiddos...
Tiphany was absolutely wonderful today. She is so knowledgeable in all things breastfeeding and helped me and my little guy tremendously. I lost faith in the lactation consultants at the hospital where I delivered and Tiphany completely changed my mind. It is apparent when talking to her that she knows her stuff and truly has a passion for her job. I highly, highly recommend her and Bayou City Breastfeeding!!

Great customer service when it comes to virtual support and office sessions, but needs to improve on fulfilling commitments for in-home sessions. I contacted them months prior to delivery to identify an LC that does in-home visits to prepare for when I got home from the hospital. We further discussed the in-home visit during my initial office consultation and had weekly communications to provide updates on potential delivery timing. The in-home visit was cancelled due to their busy schedule with other customers and unfortunately they wanted me to travel to their office when I got home from the hospital.
Response from the owner:Hi Carla, Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting your positive experience with our virtual and in-office support. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused regarding the scheduling of your in-home session. While we strive to accommodate all requests, our in-home visit availability can sometimes be limited due to high demand and the availability of our lactation consultants (LCs). We did our best to plan ahead and communicate with you regularly about your needs. However, we understand your disappointment, and we regret that we were unable to fulfill the in-home visit as initially planned. Please know that your feedback is invaluable to us, and we are continuously working to improve our services. If there's anything else we can do to assist you or if you have further concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Best regards, Bayou City Breastfeeding
Katelyn is so sweet! This was my second time working with her. She identified our issues quickly and got us on the right track with some easy home excercises. Ultimately we made the choice to revise a tongue tie but we couldn't have done it without her support.
Response from the owner:Hi Faith Ann, We greatly appreciate your recommendation!!!! 😊 Being a new mother can be overwhelming. We are so glad that Katelyn was able to ease your fears and concerns in a kind, caring manner. Please reach out if there is any additional help Bayou City Breastfeeding can provide. We are still here for you!!! 😊 Thank you! Bayou City Breastfeeding
Kristin was fantastic. She came out to my home, she was totally a calm presence and provided an excellent assessment of my son’s latch, oral anatomy and neck muscles. She gave me exercises to do with Max to work on relaxing his mouth/lips for a more open gape to improve his latch. She gave me new positions to try for a deeper latch and more comfort which drastically reduced if not eliminated my nipple pain. She did weighted feeds so we knew how much Max consumed at each breast. This gave me a lot of confidence. We even talked about pumping and flange sizing and bottle feeding when I return to work. I am looking forward to our follow up appointment in two weeks.

I feel like they all care about my BF journey but I will say that I had a negative experience. Video was not sent to ENT post release and LC said “it looks beautiful” but it has already reattached.
i had such a wonderful experience with bayou city. as a third time mama, i was still in need of breastfeeding advice. after working through my baby’s oral ties, and food sensitivities, we were still having issues with breastfeeding. i received some great tips and advice, that i hadn’t tried prior. anyone could benefit from seeing their Lcs.
Response from the owner:Hi Bobbie! We appreciate your kind words and recommendation!!!
