Tessa is a wealth of information and practical instruction. She provides evidenced based information while encouraging the mother's innate intuition. When 1st met with Tessa for a prenatal visit the week of our baby's due date, which set us up for success. Afterwards, we met with Tessa at 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months (rough estimates). I cannot emphasize how helpful she is, especially as a first time mom & breastfeeder. If you're on the fence, just do it.

The process of getting help was fantastic! I really liked how I got a virtual consultation before my in-person one to give me more immediate help. Katelyn was a fantastic lactation consultant! She helped me find the right pump and gave me some confidence to continue my breastfeeding journey. I will definitely be coming to this team again and recommending them to anyone that I can.

I exclusively pump with my first baby and when Leo was born I decided I was going to reach out for help to make it work this time. Nicole has been amazing help during my breastfeeding journey this time around. She has been patient, and she has share her knowledge with me which has allow me to be confident. She has help me with latch and positioning and even discover a lip tie which we decided to not release but instead do body work. Nicole has been supportive in our decision and has provided me with tips and tricks to help my baby improve his latch. We have been EBF for 10 weeks now and all because of Nicole and BCB! I am so grateful I found Bayou City Breastfeeding 🤱!

I am almost 5 months PP, and I would not still be breastfeeding if not for Bayou City Breastfeeding and my lactation consultant, Tiphany. I highly recommend this practice. Breastfeeding may be natural, but it does not come easy. Tiphany helped me ensure my baby got a good latch from the very beginning which helped ease the pain that necessarily comes with learning to breastfeed. Even after we had a good latch established, she has helped with other issues that have arisen, which has helped me continue breastfeeding when I may otherwise have stopped. She has also been a really helpful source for selecting bottles, pacifiers, and toys for good oral motor development that do not interfere with my baby’s breastfeeding skills. I feel confident that I can breastfeed beyond my original goal of 6 months because of the skills I’ve learned. Highly highly recommend this practice for anyone who wants to breastfeed.

We’ve been seeing Suzanne weekly for the past three weeks, and she has been a tremendous help to both me and my husband. She supported me with breastfeeding and pumping, and also shared so much valuable guidance around general baby care. Her knowledge, professionalism, and kindness truly stand out. We needed help with increasing my daughters weight just a bit and Karen was able to help us reach our goals. She was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend especially for first time moms.

Jessica has been a huge blessing in my life since having my first baby and now to have the peace of mind and confidence derived from her support is just truly such a gift! Jennifer Robert at Bayou City Breastfeeding has been amazing! I truly do not believe I would have had such a successful/enjoyable breastfeeding experience without her. I’ve seen her since week 1 of my son being born and now I’m 3 months in and doing great/ loving exclusively breastfeeding. Highly recommend!
