Ariel was outstanding! She was personable, informative, responsive via all communication channels and reassuring which meant a lot to me as a first time mom. Her personality was so refreshing! After many other appointment types throughout pregnancy at different facilities I can honestly say Ariel here at Bayou City BF is the best of the best. She’s not cold in delivering the info and she made I and my husband feel right at home. She was a breath of fresh air and I and my husband agreed that she felt like a God send and trust me he is NOT an easy sell. I felt a giant weight lift off my shoulders after leaving the appointment knowing that we will figure whatever may come out. 10 out of 10, HIGHLY recommend!

So extremely happy with the care, bedside manners, and patience with Karen Swan! I was hesitant when I first went because breastfeeding is an entire journey on its own. But after my 1st visit, I was so extremely happy and relieved I had someone who listened and helped me with this journey! I went in feeling 100% defeated (and exhausted) and walked out feeling confident and empowered. Only thing I would have done differently was not waited so long to make and appointment! LOVE THIS PLACE!!! LOVE Karen!

I’ve reviewed bayou city breastfeeding before with my first born and it was fantastic. I’m here to write a second review since we used them again for my second baby. I thought everything was going well until week 8 when we started to see bottle refusal and over just general fussiness and not sleeping longer than an hour. We saw Ariel for what we thought was bottle refusal. Ariel listened to a bunch of information we threw at her, patiently let us show her what was happening, and had it figured out in minutes. She identified a tongue tie that another LC and a pediatrician had both missed, referred us to a wonderful dentist and within two weeks, our baby was back and feeding better than before. It’s also important to note Ariel did not push to have the tie released or pressure us into anything. She simply told us what she saw and referred us to several great specialists. We cannot thank Ariel enough for being so incredible at her job. We feel so lucky to have found Bayou City Breastfeeding. Thank you Ariel and team!!

I am so incredibly thankful for Dana and all of her help with breastfeeding! From literally the very first day out of the hospital, she has been there for us, offering breastfeeding tips and education. Without her guidance and shared knowledge, our breastfeeding journey might not have lasted.

Britni was AMAZING! My breasts were so swollen, engorged and tender at our first appointment but less than a week later I felt great! She helped me bring down my oversupply and engorgement and now I feel great! Can’t recommend her enough!

Dana is AMAZING! Super knowledgeable and helpful and personable. Eased my mind with breastfeeding and with my babies weight gain. Will recommend her to anyone that needs help. Thank you for making this Mommas heart feel better!

Nicole is absolutely incredible at what she does. Her passion and expertise are evident in every session. She is kind, patient, and makes you feel completely at ease—never rushed. I’ve learned so much from her during each visit. She takes the time to thoroughly explain everything, listens carefully to your concerns, and addresses them with compassion and clarity. What I appreciate most is that she never pressures you into anything—she supports your choices and empowers you with knowledge. I highly recommend seeing Nicole for any lactation support or questions. She truly goes above and beyond.

I have had a great experience with Bayou City Breastfeeding. They really made scheduling the appointment convenient and offered me a triage visit to provide guidance as I wanted for the appointment. When I met with my consultant Katelyn she was very supportive and understanding. I appreciated that she focused on my mental health just as much as my baby’s welllbeing. I now feel more confident breastfeeding my baby when previously I was almost ready to quit.
