I watched courses, I read books about breastfeeding and naively thought “I got this”
After a week of crying and being frustrated with feeding we started our journey with Karen and she is wonderful. Lots of knowledge and slowly but surely we are progressing. I appreciate her guidance while we are figuring this out.
It’s lovely to know that I am not alone and there is help out there.

So greatful for Ms. Nicole, without her I wouldn’t have kept breastfeeding. She’s very knowledgeable, and listens to my concerns to try to get to the root of the problem. Tiphany at Bayou City Lactation was excellent to work with. If you are wanting to BF I would highly recommend BCL. She hands down saved my BF journey. She identified and addressed my baby’s tongue ties before our pediatrician did. She showed me how to use my pump. She showed me how to make BF more efficient. And she was always available through text with any questions I had. 10/10 recommend. I will use her for any baby I am blessed with in the future! Thank you BCL and Tiphany for all you do to support mothers!

I've had a wonderful experience at Bayou City Breastfeeding!! Rebecca was outstanding in helping me navigate the complexities of my BlueCross BlueShield insurance. She made what could have been a daunting process remarkably smooth and stress-free through her exceptional communication skills. She promptly responded to my inquiries, providing timely updates and guidance as needed. Thanks to Rebecca's assistance, I was able to access the lactation support I needed without the added stress of navigating insurance complexities.

Love this place! Katelyn has been so helpful with my breastfeeding journey. Truly grateful to have a place dedicated to help women feel comfortable and knowledgeable during postpartum. I would have never known my baby had a lip tie and tongue tie if it wasn’t for Katelyn. I wasn’t getting any sleep and once we clipped our baby’s tongue we had a huge improvement right away and I was able to sleep more than 1.5 hours.

As first time parents my fiance and I met with specialist Kaitlyn and the experience was more than worth it. She really helped us with our questions and anxietys when it comes to breast feeding. We had been feeling really discouraged with the pressures of breastfeeding our son but during our session Kaitlyn really gave us alot of affirmation in what we were doing right, and assistance in what we could improve on. even giving us exercises that I as dad can help with to make feedings better for both my fiance and my son. Great value here especially for new parents!

Katelyn was amazing! She was so helpful and informative regarding all of my questions and concerns.

We needed help with increasing my daughters weight just a bit and Karen was able to help us reach our goals. She was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend especially for first time moms.

The lactation consultants I worked with - Megan and a few trainees - were so helpful in giving me confidence and tools to make my breastfeeding journey successful and enjoyable. My son and I are doing so well today in part because of their support. I liked that there were options for virtual, in home and in office depending on our needs and how we were doing on any given day. The online messaging with quick responses was also super helpful. I felt like they truly cared for us and especially for my son and could share their experience as well. I highly recommend their services!! They also bill insurance which can be hard to find!
