Great customer service when it comes to virtual support and office sessions, but needs to improve on fulfilling commitments for in-home sessions. I contacted them months prior to delivery to identify an LC that does in-home visits to prepare for when I got home from the hospital. We further discussed the in-home visit during my initial office consultation and had weekly communications to provide updates on potential delivery timing. The in-home visit was cancelled due to their busy schedule with other customers and unfortunately they wanted me to travel to their office when I got home from the hospital.
Response from the owner:Hi Carla, Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting your positive experience with our virtual and in-office support. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused regarding the scheduling of your in-home session. While we strive to accommodate all requests, our in-home visit availability can sometimes be limited due to high demand and the availability of our lactation consultants (LCs). We did our best to plan ahead and communicate with you regularly about your needs. However, we understand your disappointment, and we regret that we were unable to fulfill the in-home visit as initially planned. Please know that your feedback is invaluable to us, and we are continuously working to improve our services. If there's anything else we can do to assist you or if you have further concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Best regards, Bayou City Breastfeeding

I was fortunate enough to be able to breastfeed my last baby. With that came struggles and a search for guidance. And I found that at Bayou City Breastfeeding. My very first appointment was very personal and comforting. Some may think that being there for an hour is too much but when the appointment is just about you and your baby and how to streamline your breastfeeding journey, that hour has come and gone. I am very glad my doctor recommended them.
Response from the owner:Hi Monica, Thank you for your review!!! Please let us know if there is any additional help that Bayou City Breastfeeding can provide. We are here for you!!! 😊 Thank you! Bayou City Breastfeeding
The people at BCB are amazing and I mean honest to goodness life savers. My son quit latching very early on and after trying what felt like everything on my own, I reached out to them for help. I was nervous, exhausted out of my mind and heart broken that I couldn't get him to latch. Kristin immediately treated me like a friend, listened to what I had tried and worked with me week after week to try and remedy the situation. She introduced us to Dr. Tyree who helped treat my son's general overall body tightness which also helped make a world of difference in his disposition. When I decided to turn to exclusively pumping, week after week and month after month, I had their support and encouragement and it made a world of difference in me not giving up. Having them as a resource and a source of encouragement as a first time mom made a huge difference in my experience and I can't recommend them enough. If you're struggling with breastfeeding or are interested if baby chiropractic care can help your child, please don't hesitate to reach out to them for assistance. My son is about to turn 6 months old and is hands down a happier baby than he was the first time we walked into their office and I absolutely believe they helped us get where we are today.
Response from the owner:Hi Jessica! Thank you for sharing your touching and deeply personal story. We are humbled that you chose Kristin, Dr. Tyree and Bayou City Breastfeeding to help you during such a trying time. We are thrilled that you and your baby benefitted from both our bodywork and lactation services. It was an honor to be part of your support team. You should be so proud that you have a breastmilk fed baby at 6 months! That is quite a feat! Thank you for sharing that pumping exclusively is not defeat but just another path on the breastfeeding journey. 😊 Please let us know if there is any additional help that Bayou City Breastfeeding can provide. We are here for you!!! 😊 Thank you! Bayou City Breastfeeding
So grateful for Bayou city BF and especially Tiphany! My BF experience was incredibly positive, thanks in large part to the support and guidance she provided! She’s incredibly knowledgeable and encouraged me every step of the way, which has led to me BF for almost a year so far. Will take all my babies to her!

We had a wonderful experience with all the ladies! Ms. Suzanne helped tremendously with all the questions and concerns I had once my baby had his tongue/cheek/lip ties released

It's heartwarming to know that Suzanne and our team were able to provide the support and answers you needed during such an important time. Very knowledgeable and personable. I just learned so much from her even after working with a previous lactation consultant.
Response from the owner:Thank you so much for the kind review! So happy we could help!
WORTH IT. Time, money, everything. Book the appointment.

Being in the newborn trenches for a third time and two successful prior breastfeeding experiences, I debated on scheduling an appointment. My primary concern was over-active letdown and pump fitting. Wasn’t sure I’d learn much more than I already knew or could google. Incorrect. I saw Kathy Lenert, an absolute wealth of information. I was impressed at her ability to teach, be hands on, and remember all of my needs. Was given extensive after-visit summary, which I appreciated. Truly wish I had seen her with all my kids.

Practical tips: Bring a helper and TAKE NOTES. I learned so so much. Parking is easy. Elevator is a bit small if you have a monster (large) stroller - but should fit. Will not fit more than two people and a stroller though.
Response from the owner:Thank you so much, Patricia, for this glowing review! We’re delighted to hear that Kathy was able to provide you with such an incredible experience. Her hands-on approach and knack for addressing individual needs are exactly what make her such a treasure to us and the families we serve. We love your practical tips, too—bring a helper and take notes are spot-on advice. And thanks for pointing out the parking ease and elevator quirkiness—monster stroller owners, you’ve been warned (but reassured!). Your kind words mean the world to us, especially coming from a seasoned mom like yourself. If only we’d had the pleasure of seeing you with all your kiddos! But we’re so glad you chose to visit us this time around. Here's to smoother pump fittings and calmer letdowns! Wishing you all the best on this journey and beyond. 💕
Going to this appointment was very eye-opening! It is my first baby and she is eating and gaining weight fine, but I had noticed some signs over the past two weeks that were a little concerning to me and I wanted to learn more. The nurse was super informative, educated me on a ton of things I had never thought about in relation to breastfeeding position, latch, oral exercises, etc. I am definitely glad I went and will be following up soon. These appointments are for anyone and you can learn so much even if you think everything is going well so far!
Response from the owner:Hi Julianne! Thank you for your review!!! We are sure that it will help other new moms who are on the fence about contacting a lactation consultant. 😊 We are so happy to hear that your IBCLC at Bayou City Breastfeeding was able to provide you with the encouragement and tools necessary to continue on your breastfeeding journey. Just know that you are doing the hard part: ensuring the continued health of your baby. 😊 Please let us know if there is any additional help that Bayou City Breastfeeding can provide. See you soon!!! 😊 Thank you! Bayou City Breastfeeding
