The experience has been amazing. Suzanne, Karen and Tessa are very caring and all the advices have been helpful for the tongue tie issue of my son.

Bayou City Breastfeeding is fabulous. They are great at scheduling quickly and efficiently. Kathy was such a blessing and joy to work with, and I really appreciated all of the follow up material she sent after our sessions. Tessa is magical and we were so impressed with the Bodywork sessions my son had with her. Kathy and Tessa were able to help us with the decision to have our son's lip and tongue tie corrected, as well as prep him beforehand and ensure we did everything we needed to after it. I'm so grateful to have found BCBF!

I can not say enough amazing things about Suzanne and her team. I came to see Suzanne at the beginning of my breastfeeding journey, and she has been a help not only with breastfeeding but with being a new mom in general. She is so smart and willing to answer any question openly and honestly. I trust her so much and wish every mom had someone like her in their corner!

Love Mandy! Small world, she was my Labor & Delivery nurse for my firstborn. When I made an appointment to see a Lactation Consultant for my second child, I was surprised to see her! It was very special to have her be a part of our lives for both children. Anytime I had questions, she was quick to respond. Very knowledgeable and positive!

Jessica DeAses has been my IBCLC and she’s absolutely AMAZING! Definitely a blessing to me and my family. She’s so sweet, understanding, never makes you feel rushed, and completely relatable. I don’t feel like she’s just a consultant but a friend because she’s so easy to talk to. The office is adorable as well, so cozy! I will definitely be meeting with her for any needs I may have!

Truly at a loss for words to wholly describe what Alamo City Breastfeeding means for our family. I have used both Boerne and San Antonio location and my review is the same for both. Our kiddo had a harder start with breastfeeding. I was an overwhelmed first time mom who only knew that I wanted my baby to be fed the best and if possible fed breastmilk. I fought through exclusively pumping, releases, bodywork, appointments, personal discouragement, family members and friends encouraging me to give up to get to where we are today. The entire time I was cheered, empowered, never pressured, informed, and encouraged by Alamo City Breastfeeding. Our feeding journey would not be where it is today without them still nursing at 9 months. It feels like they do it all (breastfeeding, bottle feeding, connecting you to the right practitioners, advice, listening ear, troubleshooting, starting solids, sleep). And do it all well and kindly. To be surrounded by people who fight for you, your children’s, and your family’s well being (whatever your unique situation is) is priceless. I recommend them to any pregnant person I meet, any friend who has a big or small breastfeeding question. I immediately give them Alamo City Breastfeeding’s information. Seriously, reach out! They’ll be a tool on your parenthood toolbelt you never knew you needed.

Love this place! Katelyn has been so helpful with my breastfeeding journey. Truly grateful to have a place dedicated to help women feel comfortable and knowledgeable during postpartum. I would have never known my baby had a lip tie and tongue tie if it wasn’t for Katelyn. I wasn’t getting any sleep and once we clipped our baby’s tongue we had a huge improvement right away and I was able to sleep more than 1.5 hours.

We wouldn't be breastfeeding today without Jen!! I cannot thank her enough. Come with goals, and she will help you meet them. With decades of experience, if you have a question, she has a wealth of information and help to offer. If you're comparing places or even on the fence about a lactation consultant in general, look no further - and it is worth it!

I’ve had 2 consults now with Tessa at the Jones Rd location, and baby has made so much progress with his latching. I’m not sure where our breastfeeding journey will end up, but I do know I wouldn’t have made it this far without Tessa. I’ve never felt more heard, understood, and supported. Thank you Tessa and Bayou City Breast Feeding for all that you do to help Mamas struggling to breastfeed.
