I am beyond grateful to have found this place. To have found Priscilla Jackson was a huge blessing in my nursing journey. If it were not for everything I learned from her, I honestly might have not been able to continue to breastfeed my baby. She taught me so much on how to breastfeed, how to help my baby with her latch, and even how to make sure that I did not run out of milk. When I came to her, I am pretty certain I was about to dry out, but because of everything she taught us she saved both my baby and I from losing such a wonderful connection. Today I can proudly say my baby is exclusively breastfed, after a lot of hard work, and all the tools that were provided to us as parents through Bayou City. The lactation consultants I worked with - Megan and a few trainees - were so helpful in giving me confidence and tools to make my breastfeeding journey successful and enjoyable. My son and I are doing so well today in part because of their support. I liked that there were options for virtual, in home and in office depending on our needs and how we were doing on any given day. The online messaging with quick responses was also super helpful. I felt like they truly cared for us and especially for my son and could share their experience as well. I highly recommend their services!! They also bill insurance which can be hard to find!

I was fortunate enough to be able to breastfeed my last baby. With that came struggles and a search for guidance. And I found that at Bayou City Breastfeeding. My very first appointment was very personal and comforting. Some may think that being there for an hour is too much but when the appointment is just about you and your baby and how to streamline your breastfeeding journey, that hour has come and gone. I am very glad my doctor recommended them.

I found Bayou City Breastfeeding about three years ago. Suzanne helped me with my daughter to ensure my desires of breastfeeding my baby were met. She not only showed me techniques to help with her latch, she also recommended certain things I had no idea about that would help my BF journey. I’m so thankful for her help I was able to BF my daughter for 15 months before she (daughter) decided she was ready to be done. I am now back at BCBF with my new baby who has had latching issues and again Suzanne is there to help me with all her knowledge and amazingness! I definitely recommend Bayou City BF!

Working with Suzanne has been a great experience. She is very knowledgeable, gives great solutions to problems and always answers questions even outside of appointments. I had a difficult start to my nursing journey but she helped me improve and solidify my nursing relationship with my little one and I’m very thankful for all of her help!
