I am so grateful for Bayou City LC! I was having major pain from what I thought was a clogged duct. Even though it was a Sunday they called me and it turned out I have mastitis. I was able to have the consultation with Suzanne for recommendations, meet with my doctor and get a prescription all within 2 hours. ON A SUNDAY! They are genuinely caring and there to help. I don't know what I would do without them. Biggest thanks to Amanda for getting me on the books and Suzanne for taking time with me on a weekend. They also helped when I was having issues with an oversupply. I will continue to use them through my breastfeeding journey and recommending them to others. Thank you!

My experience with Bayou city lactation was amazing. Katelyn did an excellent job with me and my baby. The goal that I wanted for me and my baby, she helped me with that. I highly highly recommend this place for all the new mommy out there who are looking for great lactation services, this is the place. Katelyn is highly knowledgeable, she worked with both of us and guide me through the process. I felt like I was talking to someone from my family, they were great great people. I was originally resistant to schedule time with an external lactation consultant because I thought I had a pretty good grasp with breastfeeding but after a tough day I ended up making the call and I’m very glad I did. I learned so much more from them than I expected to and feel so much more prepared and knowledgeable about how to feed my baby. We covered breastfeeding latching but also lots of info about feeding and weight in general. They also taught me a lot about pumping and helped me discover my babies tongue tie and all the options about how to deal with it. Mandy was very informative and easy to work with and I am very appreciative for what we learned.

I cannot recommend this practice enough. I knew about lactation consultants before I had my baby, but didn't book them until after I was struggling in the first few days. My IBCLC took time out of her weekend to meet me on a Saturday and it changed everything. I was a much happier new mom thanks to the coaching, support, and cheerleading I received from Brandi. Thank you Bayou City Breastfeeding!

As an exclusive pumper, I had horrible experiences with other lactation consultants. I came here on a recommendation and I don’t regret it!! Our consultant was understanding, informative and a great listener. The communication is easy as well… they have texting and direct messaging.

If you’re on the fence if you can breastfeed, I would absolutely make an appointment here first. It may seem overwhelming but having someone guide you and give you advice along the way will be so helpful.

Katelyn helped me through SO much! I learned how to nurse my baby and pump better and more efficiently. I gained so much confidence in my abilities to feed by baby thanks to her guidance. Especially during the early postpartum days.

My daughter also has reflux and Katelyn helped me work on things to improve this and help keep my baby comfortable as well.

I’m now off of maternity leave and had to begin traveling for work..Katelyn helped me with so many things to prepare for being away from my baby so I could have a supply at home. She also helped me work out options to pump on the go conveniently and with ease. It was a breeze when I traveled for work thanks to her help!

I owe so much of my successful breastfeeding journey to Katelyn. I am so grateful that my baby is 6mths old and we are still breastfeeding, even as a working mom!

Suzanne Juel helped me nurse my babies for 10 months and 16 months. She is extremely knowledgeable, empathetic, and kind. She believes in helping moms be the best moms they can be. She built an incredible community of moms supporting moms in our community.

Dana with Bayou City Breastfeeding is amazing. I had my first consultation today. She was able to answer all of my questions and give me a plan to move forward with to continue my Breastfeeding journey. Highly recommend..

I watched courses, I read books about breastfeeding and naively thought “I got this”
After a week of crying and being frustrated with feeding we started our journey with Karen and she is wonderful. Lots of knowledge and slowly but surely we are progressing. I appreciate her guidance while we are figuring this out.
It’s lovely to know that I am not alone and there is help out there.
