Bayou City saved my breastfeeding journey. I successfully breastfed my son with little to no problems. So when I had my daughter and was struggling with breastfeeding her I was frustrated to the point of giving up. My friend mentioned Bayou City Breastfeeding and so I made an appointment. At that appointment Suzanne mentioned that we may be dealing with a tongue tie and suggested I see someone to have it revised. Suzanne taught me the exercises to help my daughter heal and checked her wound site frequently to make sure she was healing appropriately. Suzanne was with me every step of the way and available to answer any questions I had. We are now feeding much better and spitting up less. My daughter is so much happier and so am I!

I feel like they all care about my BF journey but I will say that I had a negative experience. Video was not sent to ENT post release and LC said “it looks beautiful” but it has already reattached.

This is our second baby with Bayou City Breastfeeding. Our first had many complicated issues so this time I wanted to be prepared. Suzanne helped me get everything in line when I was still pregnant so we would be prepared. Although we are facing some of the same issues (ties), this time has been much easier to deal with because we started with such a knowledgeable IBCLC. Her scope of knowledge is unmatched. I’m fighting an infection in my incision and she knew whether or not the meds prescribed were safe for breastfeeding. I also lost a lot of blood during delivery which caused low iron which could have caused low milk supply so she recommended some supplements right away. In general, her knowledge is unmatched. The way she cares for moms is unbelievable. I only wish I would have known her for all of our kids.
My virtual experience with Bayou City breastfeeding went exceptionally well. I received a ton of helpful information as well as recommendations. I highly recommend this company for lactation support.
I had such a great visit & experience with Mary, I am so glad I chose Bayou City! My experience was warm & not rushed, we spent the better of 2 hours together & she really got to know me & my baby. She checked things you’d expect your pedi to check but they don’t always. I’m having low supply issues & thought I had tried everything but Mary still gave me good information & things to try that I haven’t. If you’re considering visiting an LC, do it!!! 10/10 Id recommend Bayou City to anyone breastfeeding!
