Bayou City Breastfeeding, Mary in particular, have been incredible. I called during a time of desperation, with a week old baby and no clue how hard breastfeeding was going to be. Suzanne answered my call on a Friday, listened to me and gave me tips on the phone and set me up with an appointment with Mary the next day. Since then, our breastfeeding journey has made a 180. Mary not only is incredibly compassionate and kind, she is extremely knowledgeable. She made us feel comfortable, informed and empowered. She has become such an integral part of our breastfeeding journey, and I credit so much our success (and sanity) to her. She started as a lactation consultant, but now is a dear friend. They say it takes a village, and I am so glad that Bayou City Breastfeeding is part of ours.

I feel like they all care about my BF journey but I will say that I had a negative experience. Video was not sent to ENT post release and LC said “it looks beautiful” but it has already reattached.

Brandy Lightfoot and Amanda Benetz are angels for breastfeeding support! I was so lost as a first time mom because my gut was telling me my baby’s symptoms with feeds was not normal, but I couldn’t get answers elsewhere because baby’s growth was on track. From my first appointment, I knew I was in the right place and left with so much hope that things could improve. They have been by my side guiding and encouraging me through this journey and continue to go above and beyond in sharing knowledge, troubleshooting issues, and being the kindest souls to lean on each week. I only wish I had started seeing them as soon as baby was born. Can’t recommend them enough and will be forever thankful for the support.

Tiphany at Bayou City Lactation was excellent to work with. If you are wanting to BF I would highly recommend BCL. She hands down saved my BF journey. She identified and addressed my baby’s tongue ties before our pediatrician did. She showed me how to use my pump. She showed me how to make BF more efficient. And she was always available through text with any questions I had. 10/10 recommend. I will use her for any baby I am blessed with in the future! Ali is amazing! I can’t express enough how much she has helped me through my breastfeeding journey. I have seen several specialist with Bayou City Breastfeeding and all experience have been wonderful. I give them full credit for the reason I am still breastfeeding at almost 1 year.

I saw Jennifer 3 weeks after my baby had her her tongue tie release. Jennifer provided me with so much education on stretches, homeopathic pain relief, overall tongue tie healing, flange sizing for pumping, everything breastfeeding, and supplements good for lactation and hormonal balancing. Her help has been invaluable. She met with us weekly and it is because of Jennifer that my baby had gained range of motion in her tongue even with some reattachment. I highly recommend Bayou City Breastfeeding for anyone looking for lactation support.
