My LC is Amanda and we’ve been seeing her for roughly a month now. She is such a valuable LC and is patient, kind, and proactive. She goes the lengths to make sure each of her patients are experiencing better outcomes and that they are comfortable with solutions provided for specific pain points. I’m grateful to have a LC that goes beyond the 9-5 mindset and truly cares about her clients.

When I called Suzanne the day my daughter was born because I was concerned she might have a tongue tie, Suzanne was quick to find someone in my area who could make a home visit...and she was able to come over that evening! When Suzanne found out I didn’t have insurance she offered to let me apply for their grant which greatly reduced the financial burden and allowed me to get the immediate help I needed to get us on the right track for breastfeeding. Mary was our lactation consultant and she has been a God-send. She is so experienced and knowledgeable about breastfeeding, lip and tongue ties and she is always so encouraging! She took her time with each appointment we had with her. I wanted to avoid giving my babe the bottle and she helped us navigate our breastfeeding journey in a way that helped us stay on the right track...getting my babe the nourishment she needed while keeping her at the breast as much as possible...all without introducing the bottle. Mary was always checking in on us between appointments through text and phone calls. Because of Mary’s incredible support my babe is very close to being weaned off the supplementation and completely exclusively breastfeeding!

My IBCLC helped me and my baby persevere with breastfeeding as we waited for his frenectomy. She’s worked with us through all the difficulties and encouraged me when I’ve wanted to give up. I would not have continued breastfeeding if it weren’t for the support and care my baby and I received from Bayou City Breastfeeding.

I definitely recommend Bayou City Breastfeeding to all new mommas!! They do not only help with breastfeeding but also PUMPING MOMMAS… and milk supply! Great experience and they are very generous<3

Tessa is an AMAZING consultant. I literally ask her about everything! I rely on her more than I rely on my son's doctor. When I ask the pediatrician a question, I usually get "He's fine", but with Tessa I get explanations and details that help me better understand certain things. Dr. Emily is heaven sent as she helped to loosen my baby. The exercises have been working very well with him and he so flexible now and sleeps so much better. Her patience with babies is wonderful!!

I am on my third baby and all of them have had tongue ties and lip ties. It wasn’t an easy process at all. The dentist that did my second daughters tongue tie reversion did a great job with giving me information and how it effects everything your body does but there was no work a head of time and only 1 follow up appointment. Because of COVID I didn’t know what to do about my baby boy hurting me while nursing. A friend told me to look at bayou city breastfeeding so I made an appointment and man has it changed my life! Not only do they take insurance which is amazing, but the knowledge that they have is abundant! Also it is so so easy to get in contact because you can text at anytime and you will receive a response pretty quick! If all that wasn’t enough they are there for every step of the way to make sure you are ready for the procedure to going with you to the appointment and then follow ups! I truly am so thankful for bayou city breastfeeding. They help you with way more then just getting your child to latch properly! They want both the baby and mother are happy and healthy. I would refer anyone and everyone to them!

Ariel was very helpful and extremely supportive throughout the few weeks I was seeing her. She kept my own goals in mind when helping me which I found very validating and non judgmental. I highly recommend!

This place is a dream!! My lactation consultant is Erica!! she’s simply a doll very knowledgeable and patient with me. On the first visit we established goals and how to meet them let alone making sure baby has a great latch!! Between visits I’m able to reach out to Erica for more support via app and that has also became sooooo helpful!! I highly recommend this place let alone I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ERICA if anyone need a lactation consultant.

Highly recommend Lisa Smelek! She was so helpful and knowledgeable, and our visits were very comfortable and enjoyable. We made great progress, and I’m thankful to have found her!
