Breastfeeding Blog

Kristin and the team have been absolutely amazing in our breastfeeding journey! I had newborn who had blood sugar issues in the hospital and had to give her a bottle so she was refusing to latch once we got home from the hospital. It was so easy to book an appointment with Bayou City and they took care of all the insurance process. With Kristin’s expertise my baby was able to get back to nursing! As a first time mom it was such a gift to have support, advice, and encouragement every week! I'm so grateful to have had the support and have recommended them to all my mom friends!

I am so incredibly thankful for Dana and all of her help with breastfeeding! From literally the very first day out of the hospital, she has been there for us, offering breastfeeding tips and education. Without her guidance and shared knowledge, our breastfeeding journey might not have lasted.

I am so thankful that I was referred to BCB from a pediatric dentist in the area. He recommended that I visit the Kingwood office for a combo visit which includes ~ body work (with a chiropractor) and also a session with the lactation consultant. My daughter who was scheduled to have her oral restriction (tongue tie) remediated demonstrated a painful latch, weight loss at 10%, etc. After several combo visits and some lactation only visits, we fell into a groove with nursing and at 3 months we have not had to follow through with the remediation surgery. I highly recommend BCB. All of their staff is phenomenal.

Suzanne is amazing. I always thought breastfeeding would be so natural and easy but that just wasn't the case for me. I struggled with my first two kiddos...

We started with Bayou City and seeing Jenn in preparation for our daughter’s tongue tie release procedure. We learned so much other information as well. My daughter is healing well, growing and latching with no more pain or discomfort to either of us. So grateful for the help and support!
