Most of our offices book online, and you do not need your insurance information to reserve a time. Your plan details come later, in your patient forms, and our billing team verifies your benefits before your visit.
Booking asks for a card to hold your spot. Nothing is charged at booking.

What to expect
Booking takes a minute. We take it from there.
From picking a time to knowing what you will owe, here is the whole process.
Book your time online
Choose your office, visit type, and time. No insurance information is needed. Booking does ask for a card to hold the appointment, and nothing is charged at that point.
Why we ask for a card
The card holds your appointment and covers only patient-billed amounts. We do not run unauthorized charges. It is used for:
- Late-cancellation fees: $50 between 24 and 48 hours ahead and $100 inside 24 hours, or $15 and $30 for 30-minute visits
- A missed appointment, charged at the self-pay rate for that visit
- The home-visit travel fee
- Any copay, coinsurance, or deductible once your claim is processed
- Services your plan does not cover, and self-pay visits
- A $100 deposit if verification comes back self-pay, or the full visit fee when the visit costs less than $100
If your plan does not cover the visit, we reach out before anything is charged. The deposit runs only once you confirm you want to go ahead at the self-pay rate, and if we do not hear back after a few attempts we cancel the appointment rather than charge you. It goes toward your visit balance, and a late cancellation comes out of it at the rates above rather than being billed separately.

Complete your patient forms
After you book, your intake forms arrive from our secure patient management system. This is where you enter your insurance, your address, your HIPAA acknowledgement, and what is going on with feeding.
Completing these promptly gives our billing team the most time to work on your benefits.
Billing verifies your benefits
Once your plan details are in, our billing team reviews coverage, referral requirements, and reimbursement structure, then emails you your coverage details and an estimate of any expected out-of-pocket cost.
If your plan turns out not to be covered, we let you know by email and text before your visit. Cancel on the day we notify you and you owe no cancellation fee.
Coverage Estimator

The Coverage Estimator tells you whether we are in network with your insurer. When we are, coverage is very likely: most plans with our in-network insurers come back covered, usually as preventive care at no cost to you.
It is a preview, not a requirement, and it never gates your appointment. Your real coverage is always confirmed by our billing team after you book.

Booking by location
Next available at each location
Times come from our booking system and change as appointments are taken. Offices marked contact to book are scheduled by our team.
Online booking starts two days out, which gives our billing team time to verify your insurance before you come in.
Once you book, that time is held for you.
If an earlier time is available, our scheduling team will contact you to offer it after you complete your booking. And if your visit is more than a week out, they will let you know if a virtual triage visit is available in the meantime. There is nothing to sign up for.

- Home visits billed to insurance require a $70 travel fee paid out of pocket.
- Accepted HMO plans require a referral by your appointment date, or your visit will be self-pay.
- Virtual appointments are not covered by these policies: UHSS, UMR, GEHA, UHC, BCBS Federal, and Cigna Allegiance.

Chiropractic and bodywork
On its own schedule, self-pay
Chiropractic and bodywork book online, on their own schedule rather than alongside a lactation visit. This care is self-pay. We do not bill insurance for chiropractic, and rates are confirmed in writing before your first appointment.
