I was extremely happy with the experience I had with Ali with Bayou City Breastfeeding! She came to my home in Montgomery, TX to evaluate my 2 week old baby and me. I was having difficulties with breastfeeding, and Ali was able to identify my baby’s issue almost immediately. She helped us come up with a plan to help with the issue, helped me navigate my breast pump, and gave us tips to make our feeding experience as good as possible. Ali was so sweet and made us feel very comfortable- not to mention, very knowledgeable! The communication from start to finish with all the staff was also great! Highly recommend!

As first time parents my fiance and I met with specialist Kaitlyn and the experience was more than worth it. She really helped us with our questions and anxietys when it comes to breast feeding. We had been feeling really discouraged with the pressures of breastfeeding our son but during our session Kaitlyn really gave us alot of affirmation in what we were doing right, and assistance in what we could improve on. even giving us exercises that I as dad can help with to make feedings better for both my fiance and my son. Great value here especially for new parents!

Melissa was a godsend. My baby was born a full month early last September. I started seeing Melissa at the end of October after not having any success getting my baby to latch. She worked with not only helping my baby with latching but also with effectively pumping. When I was thinking about giving up on nursing, she let me know she supported me either way. I ultimately kept trying and with her help, I have been successfully nursing since the end of January. I will definitely be going back when I have my next baby.

We had such amazing support with the team at Bayou! They helped us with our two babies who had tongue ties and I learned how to do the stretches and nurse them effectively. My babies are healthy and growing so well because of their experience and expertise! Even when we moved to a different state, we still reached out to them and they gave such valuable virtual help! Had a home visit during COVID...the LC that came was wearing a mask and was disinfecting everything which was a bonus! She corrected my baby’s latch in the first try and it was a game changer! I didn’t realize I wasn’t doing it right! She gave me some exercises to help with my baby’s minor tongue tie which I appreciated vs going straight to the operation route. We are 7 weeks now and things are great! Baby’s latch is strong and she is gaining weight. I was hating breast feeding before...now I’m loving it!

I love this place.
So greatful for Ms. Nicole, without her I wouldn’t have kept breastfeeding. She’s very knowledgeable, and listens to my concerns to try to get to the root of the problem. I’m thankful I have someone to guide me in this vulnerable stage of life. I also recommend Dr. Emily and the bodywork that’s been so helpful aswell!

It took about a week to get an in person visit, but we were able to get a triage video call appointment within 12 hours of my first contact to address immediate concerns. Kathy at the Houston location was thorough, informative, and very helpful. She was respectful of the goals for our family, and made sure to check in and re-assess those goals at our follow up appointments. Would definitely recommend Kathy and Bayou City to anyone looking for support in feeding their baby!
