My twins and I got much needed TLC and guidance from our sweet lactation nurse here!
Response from the owner:Thank you for the kind review! We are so pleased to be a part of your support team!
I cannot say enough great things about Bayou City Breastfeeding Lactation!!
If you’re on the fence if you can breastfeed, I would absolutely make an appointment here first. It may seem overwhelming but having someone guide you and give you advice along the way will be so helpful.

Katelyn helped me through SO much! I learned how to nurse my baby and pump better and more efficiently. I gained so much confidence in my abilities to feed by baby thanks to her guidance. Especially during the early postpartum days.

My daughter also has reflux and Katelyn helped me work on things to improve this and help keep my baby comfortable as well.

I’m now off of maternity leave and had to begin traveling for work..Katelyn helped me with so many things to prepare for being away from my baby so I could have a supply at home. She also helped me work out options to pump on the go conveniently and with ease. It was a breeze when I traveled for work thanks to her help!

I owe so much of my successful breastfeeding journey to Katelyn. I am so grateful that my baby is 6mths old and we are still breastfeeding, even as a working mom!

THANK YOU KATELYN!! I couldn’t have gotten through this without you.
Response from the owner:Hi Kimberly, Your words are too kind! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us and for your encouragement to other working mothers. We are thrilled to hear how much Katelyn and Bayou City Breastfeeding were able to help you and your family. Being a working mom with a baby that is still breastfeeding can be challenging. Adding travel to your return-to-work routine while also breastfeeding, just proves your commitment to your baby’s health. We are so happy that Katelyn was the perfect IBCLC for you and that she was able to provide you the tools and guidance necessary to stay on your breastfeeding journey. You should be very proud of breastfeeding past the 6-month point!!! That’s quite a feat for a working mom!!! 😊 Please let us know if there is any additional help that we can provide.
Melissa was a godsend. My baby was born a full month early last September. I started seeing Melissa at the end of October after not having any success getting my baby to latch. She worked with not only helping my baby with latching but also with effectively pumping. When I was thinking about giving up on nursing, she let me know she supported me either way. I ultimately kept trying and with her help, I have been successfully nursing since the end of January. I will definitely be going back when I have my next baby.
Response from the owner:Hi Samantha, Thank you so much for your heartfelt review! We're thrilled to hear that Melissa was able to provide the support and guidance you needed during such a crucial time. Your journey, from the challenges of a premature birth to successfully nursing by the end of January, is truly inspiring. Melissa's dedication to helping you with both latching and pumping, and her unwavering support, clearly made a significant difference. We're so glad to know that you felt supported in your decision-making process and that Melissa's expertise helped you continue nursing. Your kind words will surely encourage other new mothers who might be facing similar challenges. We look forward to welcoming you back when you have your next baby. Thank you for choosing Alamo City Breastfeeding!

The lactation consultants I worked with - Megan and a few trainees - were so helpful in giving me confidence and tools to make my breastfeeding journey successful and enjoyable. My son and I are doing so well today in part because of their support. I liked that there were options for virtual, in home and in office depending on our needs and how we were doing on any given day. The online messaging with quick responses was also super helpful. I felt like they truly cared for us and especially for my son and could share their experience as well. I highly recommend their services!! They also bill insurance which can be hard to find!
Response from the owner:Hi Sarah! Thank you so much for your glowing recommendation!!! It is our mission to reduce as much stress as possible for our clients and to provide them with all the tools necessary to have a successful breastfeeding journey. We are so pleased that you benefitted from all three of our appointment options, virtual, in office and, in home and that your IBCLC, Megan, was so responsive to your online questions. Please let us know if there is any additional help or guidance that Bayou City Breastfeeding can provide. We are here for you! Thank you! Bayou City Breastfeeding

Britni was AMAZING! My breasts were so swollen, engorged and tender at our first appointment but less than a week later I felt great! She helped me bring down my oversupply and engorgement and now I feel great! Can’t recommend her enough!
