Wow, I can’t thank Bayou city enough for everything they have done for us. it was an amazing feeling finally being able to breast feed my baby during the first visit and learning tips to help me breast feed her at home, not only that but I have learned so much about caring for our baby and helping her after a difficult labor. They gave us exercises to help with releasing tension and improving coordination. Idk where else they would do all this for us! I will definitely keep coming back! I worked with Brandy and Claire they were amazing!!

It took about a week to get an in person visit, but we were able to get a triage video call appointment within 12 hours of my first contact to address immediate concerns. Kathy at the Houston location was thorough, informative, and very helpful. She was respectful of the goals for our family, and made sure to check in and re-assess those goals at our follow up appointments. Would definitely recommend Kathy and Bayou City to anyone looking for support in feeding their baby!

Coming here really saved my breastfeeding journey. I could not have done it without Jen and all her knowledge and support. I learned something every time I went, and she was always responsive and encouraging when I sent messages. Thanks to her, baby and I made it to a year of breastfeeding.

I had successfully nursed 6 kids, so when my 7th baby was born I was feeling pretty confident in my breastfeeding ability. But, she had trouble eating. Distraught, I reached out to Bayou City Breastfeeding. They got me in with in a couple of days and assessed our situation. Tessa was extremely reassuring, and very knowledgeable. She helped me know which exercises I needed to do with my baby and helped me through baby's healing process after her tongue tie revision. Baby girl and I have a special bond through nursing that, at first, I didn't think it was possible. Bayou City Breastfeeding was an answer to my prayers!!

Donique, the lactation consultant at Bayou City Breastfeeding, has been an absolute lifeline for me as a first-time mother navigating the complexities of breastfeeding. Claire is amazing and has really helped me and my baby come along way with under supply and lip/tongue tie.

we could never be more thankful for tiphany! she was able to after 3 different other lactation consultants and two pediatricians confirm my daughter had all 4 ties in her mouth. she not only helped with stretches, encouraged me when she was bottle refusing for 2 months, found a bottle she would take, and lastly became someone i’m
forever thankful for on our journey! i couldn’t recommend her enough and don’t wait to book her. once you notice a problem immediately go in. it’s better to find out earlier than later. my daughter is so thankful for her journey with her.

After the birth of my first child in 2018 I naively thought that my child and I would know how to breastfeed and it would come naturally. Well the first month of his life he struggled to gain weight. So I looked for a lactation consultant covered by Aetna and found Bayou City Breastfeeding. I was consulted by Tessa Gardin. Looking back I wish I would have found Tessa sooner because she provided so much useful information. She is the reason I took my son to a chiropractor for cranio sacral adjustments and he was able to latch better. She is also the reason my milk output doubled and I was able to breastfeed until 11 months. After my second child was born on July 2020 I knew that I needed appointments with an LC right away. My daughter struggled with latch on my left breast, was biting my nipples and preferred to turn her head to her left side. So I saw Suzanne Juel 3 days after the birth. Suzanne is equally as helpful as Tessa and provided a lot of educational resources and diagrams that illustrated breastfeeding, milk production, and foods that increase milk supply. Suzanne showed me some alternate feeding positions that I use now since they are more comfortable. Suzanne recommended that my daughter get chiropractic adjustments. I took my daughter to a chiropractor and the adjustments improved her alignment significantly. Now my daughter does not have any latch issues, she is able to remove all the milk out on her own and she is no longer biting. She has exceeded the required weight gain for her age.

Claire is wonderful! She is easy to talk to and works well with my chiropractor, Dr.Jade. She has helped me and my son immensely on our breastfeeding journey.
