With decades of experience, if you have a question, she has a wealth of information and help to offer. If you're comparing places or even on the fence about a lactation consultant in general, look no further - and it is worth it!

Tessa is a wealth of information and practical instruction. She provides evidenced based information while encouraging the mother's innate intuition. When 1st met with Tessa for a prenatal visit the week of our baby's due date, which set us up for success. Afterwards, we met with Tessa at 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months (rough estimates). I cannot emphasize how helpful she is, especially as a first time mom & breastfeeder. If you're on the fence, just do it.

I could not possibly recommend them enough. Nicole and the team are incredible and are always available to help when I have questions between visits. The best decision I’ve ever made was to call Bayou City Breastfeeding when my little one was a few days old. We made it to 6 months and are still going strong thanks to Nicole!

I cannot express how wonderful of an experience I had with Bayou City Breastfeeding and my lactation consultant, Mary. I met with Mary prior to having my daughter and met with her regularly over the first 4 months since she was born. We tackled together a tongue and lip tie prior to and post-surgery, along with latching and supply issues. Mary is kind and always made me feel extremely comfortable at our visits. She spent so much time with us asking all the necessary questions, showing and suggesting different techniques to use and seeing how much my daughter was being fed. We miss seeing her and thank her so much for all of the help she provided to us.

She helped guide me to the right MD for my baby's oral tie release, and adjusted my breastfeeding technique. Literally, life-changing visits for my little one.
