Kathy was great from my prenatal lactation visit through the first couple months of birth with my baby. She was so informative and helped navigate through some breastfeeding issues I was having. I highly recommend BCBLC.

As first time parents my fiance and I met with specialist Kaitlyn and the experience was more than worth it. She really helped us with our questions and anxietys when it comes to breast feeding. We had been feeling really discouraged with the pressures of breastfeeding our son but during our session Kaitlyn really gave us alot of affirmation in what we were doing right, and assistance in what we could improve on. even giving us exercises that I as dad can help with to make feedings better for both my fiance and my son. Great value here especially for new parents!

Working with Suzanne at Bayou City Breastfeeding saved our breastfeeding journey. Suzanne helped to diagnose a tongue and lip tie in our infant daughter and outlined each of the steps needed to correct the ties. We have seen an improvement in latch, transfer of milk, time spent feeding and so much more.
In addition to the ties, Suzanne helped me as mom to get my milk supply back after it dropped drastically due to a poor latch. Suzanne outlined the steps needed for feedings and pumping, suggested supplements and vitamins to ensure I was giving my body the best chance to produce milk and most importantly was a huge emotional support throughout the process.
I cannot say enough positive things about my experience and would recommend Bayou City Breastfeeding to any mom who is passionate about their breastfeeding journey.

Bayou city (Mary and Amy) have been such a blessing to me while breastfeeding my third. This time around I was met with clogs and mastitis multiple times. Be able to meet with Mary and have her help and support was a huge help to my mental well being. Being able to send a message when I had a concern and knowing a response would be received in a timely manner helped ease my mind. From checking my pump settings, helping me reduce clogs and ultimately supporting me in making my plan to wean, they have provided me with the support I’ve needed every step of the way! Katelyn is the absolute best! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, but she’s also a caring and empathetic person. She truly cares about her patients and she’s a joy to be around. I genuinely looked forward to our sessions!

I’m grateful to have had her as part of our support team and recommend her to anyone who needs support while breastfeeding. She’ll listen, help, and cheer you on every step of the way!

We also had a few virtual consults with Lisa and I highly recommend her too! Her knowledge and advice were a huge help with navigating my son’s sleep. With so much conflicting information online, it was nice to have Lisa and Katelyn as points of reference who could use their knowledge and experience to put us on the right path and help us find what works best for us.

Honestly, you just can’t go wrong with Bayou City Breastfeeding!

Going to this appointment was very eye-opening! It is my first baby and she is eating and gaining weight fine, but I had noticed some signs over the past two weeks that were a little concerning to me and I wanted to learn more. The nurse was super informative, educated me on a ton of things I had never thought about in relation to breastfeeding position, latch, oral exercises, etc. I am definitely glad I went and will be following up soon. These appointments are for anyone and you can learn so much even if you think everything is going well so far!

We had such amazing support with the team at Bayou! They helped us with our two babies who had tongue ties and I learned how to do the stretches and nurse them effectively. My babies are healthy and growing so well because of their experience and expertise! Even when we moved to a different state, we still reached out to them and they gave such valuable virtual help! You guys are amazing!

Jennifer Robert at Bayou City Breastfeeding has been amazing! I truly do not believe I would have had such a successful/enjoyable breastfeeding experience without her. I’ve seen her since week 1 of my son being born and now I’m 3 months in and doing great/ loving exclusively breastfeeding. Highly recommend!
