Mary was a great help with my breastfeeding journey. She is amazing with children and very knowledgeable.

My journey was a bumpy one because I didn’t have the birth plan I wanted and struggled with supply.

Mary tried every path in a methodical way so we knew what worked.

Although we did not get to the point of exclusive breastfeeding I definitely learned a lot and able to give my child as much as I can provide while supplementing with formula.

As a first time mom, we realize quickly that breastfeeding is not that easy for you or baby and learning tips and tricks on positioning and how to get baby nutrition is a learning process.

I am thankful for Bayou for helping me though the process.

I was also able to share what I learned with other moms and will be able to help my daughter one day.

Britni is AMAZING! She was so personable and professional. She answered all of my questions and gave me a realistic plan moving forward that I’m excited to try. Can’t say enough good things about her and this experience!!

Great class! Jen provides you with answers that you didn't even know you had questions to. Very informative. Also, real-life examples and simulation practice. We definitely felt more than prepared after taking this class.

Suzanne is amazing. I always thought breastfeeding would be so natural and easy but that just wasn’t the case for me. I struggled with my first two kiddos and decided to reach out with my third baby and am so happy I did. Suzanne provided us so much helpful information and even after our appointment she was available to us to answer some questions and I greatly appreciate that. We have our second appointment with her this week. So happy I found Bayou City Breastfeeding!

Kathy was great from my prenatal lactation visit through the first couple months of birth with my baby. She was so informative and helped navigate through some breastfeeding issues I was having. I highly recommend BCBLC.

Mary was an amazing IBCLC. She spent hours listening, working with us, and consulting different resources to get our 4.5lb emergency C-section baby from his feeding tube, through a tie release procedure to a happy little guy who nursed until he was almost 2. She stayed in touch with us periodically even after we stopped seeing her regularly. Just a few months ago after guiding me through some resources on breastfeeding during IVF for our next pregnancy I sent her the following: Just wanted to report in and thank you for the incredible work you did to save Gavin's breastfeeding journey. Katelyn is the absolute best! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, but she’s also a caring and empathetic person. She truly cares about her patients and she’s a joy to be around. I genuinely looked forward to our sessions!

She helped us so much during our pre-release and post-release journey. I can’t thank her enough for her thoughtful advice and support over these past few months. I’m grateful to have had her as part of our support team and recommend her to anyone who needs support while breastfeeding. She’ll listen, help, and cheer you on every step of the way!

We also had a few virtual consults with Lisa and I highly recommend her too! Her knowledge and advice were a huge help with navigating my son’s sleep. With so much conflicting information online, it was nice to have Lisa and Katelyn as points of reference who could use their knowledge and experience to put us on the right path and help us find what works best for us.

Honestly, you just can’t go wrong with Bayou City Breastfeeding!

I am almost 5 months PP, and I would not still be breastfeeding if not for Bayou City Breastfeeding and my lactation consultant, Tiphany. I highly recommend this practice. Breastfeeding may be natural, but it does not come easy. Tiphany helped me ensure my baby got a good latch from the very beginning which helped ease the pain that necessarily comes with learning to breastfeed. Even after we had a good latch established, she has helped with other issues that have arisen, which has helped me continue breastfeeding when I may otherwise have stopped. She has also been a really helpful source for selecting bottles, pacifiers, and toys for good oral motor development that do not interfere with my baby’s breastfeeding skills. I feel confident that I can breastfeed beyond my original goal of 6 months because of the skills I’ve learned. Highly highly recommend this practice for anyone who wants to breastfeed.
