I had an amazing appointment with Kathy Lenert. I’ve had 2 in home visits with Kathy and each time I felt encouraged, supported and more informed.

As a first time breast feeding mom, I had a lot of anxiety around supply, latch and overall oral restrictions with my baby. Kathy heard all my concerns and addressed each one with patience, knowledge and encouragement. The first appt - she took time examining my baby; explaining what she saw and what she was doing and offered support/suggestions and exercises. She has great examples, models and explains everything so well - but is careful not to overwhelm. She showed me different ways to feed more comfortably and fit my right with my pump size. Also her bedside manner makes you feel a lot at ease in such a stressful time.

I appreciate that each session is then quickly followed with summary notes and detailed information regarding anything discussed.

After a very difficult and emotionally draining breastfeeding experience with my first child, I was nervous and uncertain about trying again with my second. From the very first consultation, she immediately put me at ease with her warmth and genuine empathy. She helped put me at ease and has become an invaluable resource for me. Her knowledge of breastfeeding techniques and lactation challenges that can occur is remarkable. She took the time to thoroughly assess my baby’s latch and my milk supply explaining every step in a way that made me feel empowered and not at all overwhelmed. What sets her apart is her passion! She is truly invested in the success of every family she works with. She celebrates the small wins, provides encouragement along the way and most importantly she gives practical, evidence-based guidance that actually works. Thanks to Brittaneys support, I have made it to one month of exclusively breastfeeding my second child…….successfully and confidently! This is a milestone I never thought possible after my first experience. Beyond her expertise, her compassion makes her not just a lactation nurse, but a trusted partner in this roller coaster journey of motherhood. Any parent lucky enough to work with her will feel supported and truly cared for. Thank you for all you do Brittaney!!

I saw Suzanne recently and had a wonderful experience! She was honest and open about her practice. The enviroment was very welcoming and I felt heard and unjudged. She is very knowledgeable about lactation and she makes me excited for my breastfeeding journey.

I can’t say enough good things about this place!!! As a first time mom, everything can be so overwhelming especially breastfeeding. I was recommended to get a consult here by a friend before I even gave birth and I’m so glad I did! It helped me know what to expect and prepare for my breastfeeding journey. The hospital I gave birth at does provide lactation services however I found them to be severely lacking. I needed some major help and I was able to schedule a home visit with Mandy very quickly after giving birth. I would have been so lost without her! She is marvelous! She is incredibly knowledgeable and so sweet with my baby. She really takes her time to answer all your questions and is just amazing at what she does! It’s been three-ish months now and things have drastically improved from the beginning and I now feel confident in feeding my baby. I am so grateful to Mandy and Bayou City for their services. Aside from the actual lactation service - the billing and scheduling team are very responsive and communicate very well. I had issues with my insurance and Rebecca with billing took the time to answer all my questions and get it sorted. Everyone I’ve come in contact with is very knowledgeable and good at what they do - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
