It took about a week to get an in person visit, but we were able to get a triage video call appointment within 12 hours of my first contact to address immediate concerns. Kathy at the Houston location was thorough, informative, and very helpful. She was respectful of the goals for our family, and made sure to check in and re-assess those goals at our follow up appointments. Would definitely recommend Kathy and Bayou City to anyone looking for support in feeding their baby!

With my first child, my breastfeeding journey was terrible due to edema, low milk supply, and not so good advice from the hospital and lactation consultant. For my second child, I promised myself to be more prepared and that is how I found this practice. I was able to breastfeed my second baby and have some spare milk on the freezer. My only regret is not reaching out to Suzanne the first time around. I keep thinking how things would have been different if she had been my lactation consultant with my first child. The team here is amazing. Please reach out, even if you think it is already too late, they truly keep up and set personalized goals.

Suzanne is the best! The first thing she checked was to see if my son had any restrictions in his mouth that the hospital missed. She found a tongue and lip tie! She showed me how to appropriately position to breast feed and helped gather resources for my son and I. I will be recommending them to everyone!

Great customer service when it comes to virtual support and office sessions, but needs to improve on fulfilling commitments for in-home sessions. I contacted them months prior to delivery to identify an LC that does in-home visits to prepare for when I got home from the hospital. We further discussed the in-home visit during my initial office consultation and had weekly communications to provide updates on potential delivery timing. The in-home visit was cancelled due to their busy schedule with other customers and unfortunately they wanted me to travel to their office when I got home from the hospital.

Because of Mandy and her team at the magnolia location helping us in the beginning we have made it to ONE YEAR of breastfeeding!!!!! We started out with a tongue tie in the beginning. We got that fixed and had a rough recovery but Mandy and Karen helped my baby and I through it. Once he fully recovered he did so well latching and feeding! I couldn’t have gotten through those rough few weeks without their support. I am so happy to say we made it and am feeling so accomplished and proud to have provided for my child! Tessa is an AMAZING consultant. I literally ask her about everything! I rely on her more than I rely on my son's doctor. When I ask the pediatrician a question, I usually get "He's fine", but with Tessa I get explanations and details that help me better understand certain things. Dr. Emily is heaven sent as she helped to loosen my baby. The exercises have been working very well with him and he so flexible now and sleeps so much better. Her patience with babies is wonderful!!
